I thought that if you used the ECB that was from a product to buy the same product, that you wouldn’t get another ECB for that purchase…

Hi Desiree – CVS actually allows you to use an ECB from one product on the same product in a second transaction AND you will get another ECB for the purchase! Walgreens – on the other hand, will not print out more RRs when you use the RRs from one product on the same product in the second transaction.. **UPDATE** I hope I haven’t confused you guys – if there is a Limit of 2, you can put the ECBs from the 1st transaction towards the 2nd transaction. However, if there is a limit of 1, then you can’t do the transaction a second time b/c you will not receive the sales price and the ECBs.

I was waiting to see if you were going to post this. I am ALWAYS really happy when CVS has this deal. I also wanted to let you know that at CVS…. If you go after 6pm on SAT you can get all the deals from the Sunday ad. (before you get the ad in the Sunday paper) exp. I went to Cvs after 6pm on Sat to get the opti-free contact solution and was able to Buy the Milk and get the Ecb back from it. I think it’s great that they do that! So I was able to get the Ecb from both! I have a Cvs Right down the street from My house so I am there all the time lol. I know alot of the people that work there (being so I am there all the time) So they always give me a heads up on things they dont think I know. I LOVE CVS! 🙂

I didn’t realize you could use the ECB on one item to buy another of the same..DUH! I went and got another reward card for the tampons b/c I didn’t think I could buy two..So I could have used the $4.99 to buy the U by Kotex tampons that were giving ECB last week?? Now I have two $4.99 ECBs to use from 2 different cards.. No problem b/c I’ll use them but I didn’t think I could do it. I thought it was limit 1 and that meant 1 deal per card per sale period.
Liza says
eek – Rocki – let me clarify!! If there is a deal that has a limit of 2, then you can do the deal once on one transaction and use the ECBs earned from the first transaction and put them towards the 2nd transaction. **Make sure you read what the limit is. If the limit is one, then you can’t do it a second time. I’m so sorry if I have confused you!

This never lets me print anymore. It always says I have printed the allowed times. It wouldn’t let me print this last time either:(

The TG Lee website states that there’s a limit of 2 prints per two months. =( Mine has finally reset. Maybe see if someone you know can print it out for you with another computer. Make sure they use their name/email address.

Technically this deal is misstated. It includes the first ECB on both transactions. If you count two coupons and two ECBs, your price is $1.19 on both gallons.
Wendy says
Anyone know if this deal is available in GA?
Tricia says
I agree with Doug. You are counting the ECB savings twice. If you deduct the ECB savings in the first transaction, you shouldn’t deduct it again in the second transaction. I find that this is done often on coupon blogs.
