Has anyone else heard about a new Publix policy where we can no longer use 2 coupons on B1G1 deals? My Publix told me the other day that I can only use one coupon for each kind of item I buy. So if I buy 5 bottles of Ranch dressing and have 5 $.50 off coupons, I can only use one coupon. I haven’t gone in to test out this new info lately as I’ve been slacking on my couponing though.
well that policy would just make people check out a dozen times with one of each item every time 🙁
i hope my publix doesn’t go to that.

There has been rumors that a new coupon policy that affects all Publix stores will be taking effect soon and this is one of the rumors that only one coupon on B1G1 deals.
I don’t understand why they would do this, they still get the full value of the coupons +.08 no matter if the items are on sale or not.

I don’t think the new show “Extreme Couponing” is going to help the situation. I feel many store coupon policy’s are getting ready to change due to pressure by the Manufactures. I’m sure General Mills was thrilled to see one Guy use a thousand coupons to get free Total cereal. Bummer!
I agree with you about the Extreme Couponing show. Each and every example was extreme, that’s for sure. I would never consider buying 40-60 of one item at a time and not leaving any for anyone else! I feel somewhat “greedy” if I buy 12 boxes of the same sort of pasta at one time! I don’t think the show is going to help us at all.
