This Sunday we should see two inserts in our papers. We should see one RP (Red Plum) Insert and one SS (Smart Source) Insert. Remember that coupon inserts vary per region and newspaper so you may not see every insert. Sunday Coupon Preview currently has the previews listed for the both inserts. Go HERE to see a list of all of the potential coupons we should see this Sunday.
- You will want to buy at least two newspapers on Sunday so that if the stores you shop at have a Buy One Get One sale, you will be able to use two coupons on the two items you purchase! And, remember, the more duplicate coupons you have, the more you will be able to stockpile when your favorite item is dirt cheap!
- My tip for you (as always) is to check your newspapers BEFORE you buy them to make sure they have all the inserts. Inserts vary regionally and from newspaper to newspaper so make sure you are getting the correct inserts before you make your purchase.
If you do not get the Sunday paper and want to purchase full coupon inserts or individual coupons, some of my favorites coupon clipping sites are below (and like all things, shop around and compare the prices as well as the shipping costs :
- Ebay – you can either bid on coupons/inserts or you can pay a full price using their “Buy it Now” feature.
- Coupons & Things by Dede – example pricing – two 3/6/11 SS Inserts cost $0.65 each. Shipping is $2.73.
- The Coupon Clippers
- Coupon Beat
- Sunday Coupon Inserts – I LOVE this company because it is local to where I live. I’ve received coupons the next day after ordering coupons from them!

Hi! I live in PA and I went today (Sat. 23rd) to get the early Sunday Edition paper which is dated the 24th. I only saw the SS coupons. I was wondering if it is because I am located at a different state or because I got the early Sunday Edition? I am new to couponing and I would hate to lose a great deal! Please HELP!!! We purchased the Philadelphia Inquierer.

Hi Kim! The problem with coupon inserts is that they are often regional and sometimes they vary in each paper. Is there any other major newspapers in your area? If there are, I would check them to see if they have the correct inserts. My area has two major newspapers and I find that one almost always has the correct inserts while the other very seldom has the correct inserts. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Hi Liza,
I was wondering if you have ever done a comparison of the Bradenton Herald coupons to the Tampa paper? I think I have posted before that the Sarasota papers have less coupons and so if I am near Tampa on Sunday, I will pick up papers there…but a lot of the places I have stopped have both Tampa and Bradenton (sometimes say Tampa edition) papers and I have always just bought Tampa. Thanks.
