This Sunday there should be two insert in our papers. We should see one SS (Smart Source) insert and one RP (Red Plum) insert. Sunday Coupon Preview has the previews listed for both inserts. Go HERE to see a list of all of the potential coupons we should see this Sunday.
Below are some of the coupons I hope to see in this Sunday’s inserts:
FREE Birds Eye Steamfresh Lighty Sauced or While Grain Blends wyb any (1) bag of Birds Eye Steamfresh Save up to $2.99 value
$1/2 Chi-Chi’s Tortillas
$1.00/1 Eight O’Clock Coffee bag
$2.00/2 Eight O’Clock Coffee bags
$1.00/2 Land O Lakes Butter
$2.00/1 Wisk Laundry detergent
You will want to buy at least two newspapers on Sunday so that if the stores you shop at have a Buy One Get One sale, you will be able to use two coupons on the two items you purchase! And, remember, the more duplicate coupons you have, the more you will be able to stockpile when your favorite item is dirt cheap! My tip for you (as always) is to check your newspapers BEFORE you buy them to make sure they have all both inserts. If you live in the Tampa Bay area, the St Pete Times has been notorious for leaving out inserts. So, check your newspapers to make sure you are getting everything before you purchase it! Also – remember that every region has different coupons so we may not see each and every coupon.

Is the St. Pete Times or the Tampa Tribune better for coupons?
Liza says
Hi Crystal! I prefer the Tampa Tribune.. When I first started couponing, the Times always had the correct inserts. BUT, as of 6 months ago, I have found that the Times consistently misses inserts and the Tribune always has the correct inserts. That said, every Sunday, before I buy my stack of papers, I always check the Tribune first to make sure that it has whatever inserts are supposed to be in the papers..

Does anyone have any suggestions for saving on newspapers? I buy 4 each week and the total comes to $6.36. It’s worth it given what I save with the coupons…but it would be nice to spend less on them.

I just bought for today for the regular $1 price; however, my husband said they sale them on certain street corners for $.50 each in Pasco county, and he thought in south Pinellas. We live in North Pinellas and they do not do that here.

If you buy the Tampa Trip, they are $0.50 on Sundays. And if you go to a paper box, you save the tax. 🙂
