It’s been a little while since we’ve posted about thredUP. Have you heard of thredUP yet? They’ve changed a little bit recently as they now accept and sell consignment quality women’s clothing as well as children’s! You can buy quality used clothes without ever leaving home. You can sort by brand, size, or type of clothing. Some of their favorite brands include Tea Collection, Gap, Gymboree, and Hanna Andersson for kids. For women’s clothing they love J Crew, Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Theory, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Even better is that thredUP will send you a bag for FREE that you can fill with high quality, clean, name brand clothing and they will inspect it and pay you for the items they think they can sell. They admit they only accept on average 1/2 of a bag, but what they don’t accept they partner with national textile distributors and recyclers to ensure that every item is re-used and doesn’t end up in a landfill. Best of all it gets things out of my house and I don’t have to spend any gas money!
