Photo Show & Tell: Vlasic Pickles, GoGo Squeeze, Larabars, Smartfood Popcorn and MORE

What a week! This summer is flying by.  I can tell because I’ve been posting Back to School deals left and right.  And then, once your kiddos are back in school, I’m sure stores will begin their Halloween and then holiday sales and my blogging life will become even busier than it is now! 😉  Hubby and I also made the decision for me to go back to Ethiopia in a little over one week to stay there with our son until we clear embassy.  I’m both excited and nervous about this as I booked just a one way ticket and don’t know if I will be there for 3 weeks or for 3 months.  Feel free to read my blog post about this HERE.  So this week has been filled with me gathering items for my trip and my dining room table is full of baby stuff that I’m going to try to pack into one of two suitcases I am bringing with me.

This week’s Publix sale is a pretty good one.  While I didn’t purchase a ton in today’s trip, I was able to get some great deals.  And, you will start to see that I’m beginning to stock up on baby items since I expect to have a 12 month old in this house in the next couple of months (or hopefully sooner Lord willing).  I loved both the Vlasic Pickles BOGO deal as well as the Vlasic Farmer’s Garden Pickles deal.  Besides pickles and GoGo Squeeze packs, I didn’t stock up on anything else. But I didn’t need to stock up on anything else 🙂  Since I have a great stockpile, I’ve found that my life has become less about stockpiling and more about taking advantage of deals and then eating based on what is on sale each week. As always, I didn’t purchase much (if any) produce or meat and seafood because I belong to a produce coop and stock up on meat with Zaycon Foods.

If you shop at a Publix that accepts Winn Dixie coupons, you might notice that every week I use a $5.00 off $30.00 Winn Dixie Enjoy the City coupon while grocery shopping.
