Many of you have asked for an update regarding our adoption, and I can’t tell you how thankful we are for your prayers, support and encouragement. I know that we don’t personally know all of you, but we still count you as friends, and are so grateful for the role you play in spurring us on in this process.
The quick update is that mom and son have been in Ethiopia together now for 12 days, and I’m not even going to lie, it’s been tough on mom. I’ve written about her stay extensively HERE, so please check out our Addicted to Adoption blog for a more detailed account of her stay in Africa.
And since most of you know our son as Baby T (I always preferred T-Rex), I do want to let you know that we have officially named him Asher. We are keeping his middle name of Terefe as well. There is a story behind the name which we will tell another time I’m sure.
Thank you again for following our journey and for cheering us on – it means more than you know!
