Okay – so all of you that shop at Publix probably know that you can get Right Guard Deodorant dirt cheap this week at Publix. How cheap is dirt cheap? Try $0.40 each? 🙂 Well, this Sunday’s newspaper may have a coupon that gets us the deodorant for free (plus overage if your store allows). I can not guarantee we will get this coupon in our paper – all coupons vary in each region/city/newspaper/etc etc. BUT, at this point, I can say that many people will receive a Buy One Get One Right Guard or Dry Idea Deodorant (up to $4.49) in Sunday’s RP insert. Again, I repeat that I can not guarantee we will all see this coupon, but if we do, see the scenario below to score FREE deodorant or even better FREE deodorant plus overage if your Publix allows.
Scenario One (Do this if your Publix does not allow overage)

Under what zipcode for the Right Guard
Liza says
Hi Marie – I printed my coupons out this morning and if I recall, when it asked for my zipcode, I selected “no thanks”. Then, on the drop down bar on the top right, look for Right Guard. If you do not see Right Guard as an option, try your home zip, then try 90210, 60540 and 06070. Those zipcodes are usually good. That said, this Right Guard deal is really hot so I wouldn’t be surprised if the limit is reached asap. I can’t tell on my computer since I’ve already printed and reached the limit on my computer..

I am lost, Can you explain if I am understanding this correctly. You can use the (2) of BOGO manufacturer coupons with (1) $2/2 ? I will think that you can only use one Bogo and one $2/2. Please advise.
Thanks,
Michelle says
Start thinking of B1G1 as the $$ amount off.
So instead of the coupon being B1G1, it’s $2.79 off 1. Yes you can only use 1 coupon per 2 bought, but you can use a different $ off coupon for the other one purchased.
Also, don’t think about the free item that the store is giving you when you figure out your coupon QUANTITY to use.
So you have 4 items, $2/2 & (2)$2.79/1 coupons for your total of 4 items. And the store is giving you a discount of $2.79 for each set of 2 you buy.
HTH!!!

I got this coupon in my weekly flyers in the mail. My concern with this would be that they would tell me that it says that you have to buy one to get one. How would I get this deal if I’m told that?
Cathy says
You do have to buy 1 to get 1. There’s a reply to another comment that explains it perfectly. But what Liza is saying is buy “4” deodorants and use 2 b1g1 coupons. Then $2 off of the 2 deodorants that you are buying to get the other 2 free. 🙂

Does the deal work as well below since I only get one sunday paper (I don’t get my moms inserts until the following weekend.)
Buy 4 rightguard =$5.58
Use 1 BOGO coupon -2.79
Use 1 $2/2 coupon -2.00
Total .79(approx .20 a piece)
Liza says
Hi Jolie – great question. Your deal works 🙂 At first I thought you were using both coupons on only two deodorant but I see you know what you are doing! 🙂 I would recommend that on Sunday, check your RP and see if the B1G1 coupon is there. If it is, you might want to buy a second newspaper. It’s entirely up to you though 😉

rachel i just printed fine using the 90210 but i think what happens is that once you print it it doesnt show up for you again. You might wanna try a different computer/printer if you have one.
