For all you couponing newbies, a money maker is an item where you will get more money back in rewards than you spend.  In other words, you make money on the purchase!

This week at Walgreens, Quaker 1 Minutes Oats are $3.19 each.  Buy 4 cartons.

  • Walgreens has a RR deal where if you spend $10 on Quaker products, you will receive $5 RR.
  • Walgreens has an in-ad coupon this week making Quaker Oats B1G1.
  • Use two $1.25/2 coupons in the 8/30 RP.
Total before coupons 4 x $3.19 = $12.76
Minus 2 in ad B1G1 coupon              (6.38)
Minus 2 $1.25/2 coupon                    (2.50)
Money owed at register:                   $3.88
Receive $5.oo RR which is a Profit of $1.12!!
