Do you have those moments where you are going about your day and all of a sudden you realize you are famished? Maybe you have found yourself getting cranky or tired or just out of it and you can’t quite figure out why… until you realize you are hungry? While I try to eat at regular intervals throughout the day, there are many days where I’m so busy that I will forget to eat a meal. The next thing I know, I’m cranky and usually super lethargic. I’m just not myself when I’m hungry!
I’ve tried to combat this problem by keeping snacks handy to help me enjoy life during those moments when I’m hungry! SNICKERS® has been the perfect snack!

My local Walmart had the SNICKERS® bars spread throughout the shelves (versus all together), so be sure to scan your checkout lane shelves good to find them!
When I purchase SNICKERS® bars, I don’t eat them right away. Instead, I save them for days when life is hectic and I am in need of a quick chocolate fix that has a boost of protein! I like to keep SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares in my purse because when I’m out running errands with my son, there is a very good chance that while he’s been fed and he has had plenty of snacks, I haven’t taken the time to eat. So I keep the squares in my purse for moments when I’m hungry.
I used to be a long distance runner. Everything changed when we became parents and I had a difficult time finding time (and energy) needed for me to get out there and run. But the past few months I’ve started getting into running again and I’m working my way back to being able to run half marathons and marathons. A lot of times I go running in local parks. And when I’m done running, I am famished. When you run long distance, you are depleting your body of nutrients – especially if you aren’t eating while you run (which I don’t do). So, once I’m done, I’m always super hungry. I like to have SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares handy to refuel and give me an energy boost.
Driving. We all have to do it. When you get hungry while driving, are you tempted to stop at fast food restaurants? I’m not. So when I’m hungry, typically I will continue driving and just get more and more cranky. (Just being honest!)
