We’ve had a long week over here! Hubby has been working late hours and I’ve felt a bit like a single stay at home parent who at the same time has to work from home full time. I’m beat. For all of you who are single parents, my hat goes off to you. I do not know how you do it day in and day out!
My shopping trip today was a large one. I bought eight bags of cat food. If you’ve followed me on this blog, you know that my cat is very particular with the type of food she eats. Purina Indoor Cat Formula is the brand and flavor she likes. Since it is on sale BOGO and since there are $1.10/1 coupons, I stocked up. We could eat Mexican food every night of the week. I am trying to steer clear from processed foods so I will often use ground beef or chicken on a salad. Meanwhile, the hubby and Asher will have tacos or burritos. If you shop at Publix, there are some awesome deals available this week as we match the sales with coupons! My out of pocket spending was higher than normal this week because I bought so much cat food as well as stocked up on all sorts of Mexican food fixins. Fortunately, I did have a $10.00 Publix Gift Card I earned from a mail-in-rebate a few months back. I received it in the mail this week and wanted to spend it before I lost it. 😉
