Living in Florida, we have hot weather pretty much all year round. We get used to the heat and running the air conditioner 8 or 9 months out of the year. But the intensity of the sun we never quite get used to. As a teen, I was all about the sun. I foolishly spent many hours lying on a lounge chair and getting nice and tan. For Father’s Day, we went to a theme park in Orlando. Prior to leaving, I had a “to-do” list a mile long. We were only planning on staying at the park for about half a day since it is summer-time, HOT outside and since our son is a toddler with a very short attention span.
