I posted this week’s scenarios earlier this week but wanted to repost them in case you missed them! This week’s CVS scenarios is a smaller shopping trip. I have you doing two or three transactions. The third transaction I have you purchasing Zantac, but if that is a product you wouldn’t use, then stop at Transaction two and save your ECBs to use next week! (If you stop at Transaction two, you will spend $7.38 on everything versus $9.37.
This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. If you have Extra Care Bucks leftover from last week, apply those towards your transactions to spend even less out of money!
Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxesdifferently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire and you want to use them now, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

I haven’t tried it but a cashier at CVS told me they will take expired ECB’s.
