**Update – I wasn’t able to download any shows/movies yesterday when I originally posted this. However, tonight, when I clicked on the Amazon Video App on my phone, I immediately received a notice saying shows and movies were now downloadable. I am currently downloading a few episodes of my son’s favorite show (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) as I type. So if this didn’t work yesterday, try again tonight!
Amazon has released a new download program that will make many of you very happy! Now, all Amazon Prime members will be able to download some shows and movies to your iPhone, iPad, Fire Table and Android. So, when there is no internet connection available, you will be able to watch already downloaded shows and movies for FREE! Other streaming sites like Hulu and Netflix do not offer this ability! I tried to do this on my phone and was unable to. I think I need to upgrade my Amazon Instant Video app. I also know that this will not be available for all Prime eligible shows and movies.
