Almost two years ago, I decided to try essential oils. I decided to dive head first and purchase a Young Living Essential Oils starter kit. The distributor (a friend of mine) I purchased my oils from was having HUGE success with them and I was inspired to try too.

Please know, I’m not anti-the doctor and I’m also not anti-medicine. In fact, I love my doctor and our son’s pediatrician and I am not adverse to medication and I still take over the counter meds as needed. I use Frankincense to clear up my acne and help with wrinkles. Hubby uses oils like peppermint and thieves to combat his migraines. We both use peppermint when we have aches and pains from working out or from stiff necks or lower back pain. I have developed an intense love of Stress Away and Peace & Calming. We use purification to stave off colds and sore throats. I also love to diffuse purification and lemon to purify and freshen the air when I’ve been cooking smelly foods like fish, broccoli, cauliflower or kale. And I created a concoction of oils that I’ve been spraying on my dog to help prevent fleas.
