Photo Show & Tell: Ritz, Palermo’s, Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, Graham Crackers, Coppertone & more

We are home from China! After spending a little over 2 weeks there, last Wednesday night (5/18), we arrived at Tampa International Airport and became a family of four. Let me tell you – there is NO place like home. We are so glad to be home and reunited with our son. This past week has not been without challenges, but each day we are getting more and more accustomed to our new life and our little girl is becoming more and more comfortable in her new home. AND, she’s starting to like me – which helps daddy who was growing wearing having her as a permanent attachment on his hip during our time in China. 🙂 Our son is still adjusting to no longer being an only child. It’s hard to watch and honestly, my heart breaks for him. But we are all getting used to our new normal and I know that with time, he’ll be more adjusted.

This week was my first time couponing in what seems like months. I HAD to go to Publix to take advantage of the S’mores deal. And we needed more milk and eggs. I already went to the store on Sunday with my son and we filled our cart and used zero coupons. That is what jet lag and an empty fridge will do to you! I forsee going through 2-3 gallons (maybe more) of milk and at least 2 dozen eggs each week. Although right now our daughter is still on formula – but once she’s weaned off it, we’ll be spending big bucks on her milk and eggs. 🙂

I pictured the S’more deal (I did it twice) separately because we had to go to a second Publix in order to find marshmallows in stock. You all have wiped the shelves clean of marshmallows! (not that I blame you) Our Publix is awesome and one of our friends at customer service called a local Publix and had them hold marshmallows for us. That definitely made our day.

Below is a picture of Asher and Jolie in the shopping cart in Publix. It was Jolie’s first time in a shopping cart and I’m finding that if we expose her to new things with her brother present, she’s fine. She and Asher had a great time riding side-by-side. Although, if you were near us, you would have heard me constantly saying “keep your hands and feet to yourself.” Ahh how things have changed now that we have two kiddos!
