Is anyone else as excited as I about the Eight O’ Clock Coffee sale? We go through coffee like it is water in this house. So, I bought 8 bags today and may even go back to get more! 🙂 I also have an awesome friend who gave me some great Winn Dixie coupons so I was able to get some great deals on the meat I think I was a bit surprised by how much I spent but I have to remind me that the meat wasn’t free and I bought a lot of coffee! I made two different shopping trips today and I’ve combined everything into one transaction below. I made two different trips because I had one $5 off $30 Winn Dixie coupon and one $10 off $50 Winn Dixie coupon and I wanted to use both.

The meat and pork WD coupons were in a baby club mailing that came out around the beginning of the year. Don’t know about the $5 steak one, wish I had that one! I ran to check my mailer thinking maybe I had missed it.

There are some great deals this week! Liza, I’m curious if you donate or give away the Vitamin D’s you get for overage? Or do you actually use them all? I noticed you bought them last week and this week as well. I bought some last week to get the overage, and I wish I had someone to give them to.

I wonder if my store will allow me to use the Stayfree Publix coupons still? They were completely out on Wednesday or Thursday when I went in. I had to get a rain check and now the coupon is expired. That stinks.
They may not but your best bet is to call before you go. The ones around me (Pinellas County) have cracked down big time.
As usual I love your shopping posts! I will go back and do the Kikkoman and eggs deal when I pick up my papers tomorrow. Awsome hint about the winn dixie flyer which is all I get here and I always check for the 5 off 30 but never looked at the other coupons!
Publix has a nice sleek stainless & wood Ginzu knife set for $20-worth a lot more than that. I was able to take $5 more off [essentially] using my Winn Dixie at Publix for $5 off my $30 of “haul.” You bet that was the knife set, and $10 of bogos tomake thirty.
But WHERE is the $10 off $50?? I will go look.
My publix will still accept expired PUBLIX coupons. So the Sundown (if your publix does this too) will last. The rule is that it has to be used within that year. So 2010 coupons wont work anymore.
Vitamin D is a great thing to buy and donate if you don’t use. 75% of Americans are Vitamin D deficient. Check local womens centers or doctors office to see if they will take it.
Very excited about the coffee deal this week since we buy whole bean and we love 8 O’Clock….I have 8 coupons so we’ll be getting at least 8 bags…we usually shop on Tuesday though. Lately that has been an issue with our store since they keep running out of the deals and we end up with stacks of rain checks 🙁
