Okay – so I asked everyone on Addicted to Saving’s Facebook page if you would like some Publix Italian Days scenarios and the results were a resounding yes. The scenario below is a “tame” one. I have you using each store coupon only once. If your store allows you to use more than one of the same store coupon in one transaction, you will be able to do better. ALSO – the $5/20 coupon is basically subtracting $0.25 from each item. So, if you decide to create your own scenario (you should – have fun with this!) you can mentally subtract $0.25 from each item assuming you purchase 20 items and use the $5/20.
I have two HUGE disclaimers.
1) Some Publix locations will only allow one $5/20 coupon per 20 items while other Publix locations will let you use a $5/20 AND additional store coupons on the 20 items you are purchasing.
2) Some Publix locations will only allow one individual store coupon per transaction – in other words, no duplicate coupons. I recommend you ask your customer service before selecting your items so that you know what to expect. Any questions? 🙂

I heart publix dot com has a link to a PDF of the Italian Days coupon sheet, FYI
Rebecca says
Of course, now I can’t find it on that site, so perhaps it was a different couponing blog (I know Liza, I’m cheating on you). I know it’s out there ’cause I printed it AND saved it to my desktop just in case. I’ll try to find it later tonight and post a link or something…
Rebecca says
I have no clue how I got to it, but click call mail dot com slash downloads slash italian underscore days underscore coupons dot pdf (as a webaddress). It has the front page, with the $5/20, $1/4 Progresso, $1/2 Muir Glen and $1/4 Green Giant and LeSueur coupons.
carrie says
if you can’t find it at yours, Liza, I know my store has them I could get some for you!

there is supposed to be another one, with a $1/4 Hunt tomato products, but my Publix doesn’t have it. I was really bummed today not to be able to use those coupons, because the store didn’t have them. (And my Publix would have let me use all the store coupons I wanted, too. 🙁 )

i have a couple of extra e-mail me if you want them I can mail them tomorrow f501lh @ yahoo . com

The South Tampa Publix refused to accept the Italian Days Coupon Sheet that I printed from the ClickcallMail Website. The cashier brought the Store Manager to the register and he said they do not accept photocopies of store coupons. I told him the website that I printed the coupons from but he doubted me and said “he would check it out”
Liza says
Hi Seh! I actually had a long conversation with my store’s manager about photocopied coupon sheets. He said they have cracked down on photocopied store coupons. I told him about the Italian Days Click Call Mail coupons and he didn’t know about them. Did your store have the Italian Days coupon sheets that you could use instead?
Seh says
No, they did not have the coupon sheet. Not sure about this but the website appears to be sponsored by General Mills. The coupon Link is right next to the entry form for the 10,000 in Publix Groceries Sweepstakes. You would think Publix would be aware of this but I guess not down to the manager level. The coupons are not photocopies but a download from a PDF File. I was a little embarassed.
Liza says
Seh – don’t be embarrassed – Also – I know you didn’t photo copy especially since I’ve posted the link to those coupons at least 3 times this week! Please don’t think I insinuated that you copied 🙂 The problem is that managers and stores are not all aware of the printable coupons that are available.
Colleen says
Just FYI – the Italian Days Coupons were hanging on a freestanding cardboard display for the Sweepstakes… kind of hard to spot. On them I found a coupon for $1/3 of the 28oz cans, AND one for $1.50 off publix bakery bread when you buy 6 cans. SO, I bought six, used two $1/3 coupons, and picked up a loaf of bread to go with my Italian Feast!! Score!
Liza says
Great job Colleen! At first I was going to tell you that the $1.50 off bread coupon doesn’t work because it only covers paste and sauce but then I saw the $1/3 coupon covers Sauce since it is pictured on the coupon! Great find!

We shopped this sale today – bought 40 items – spent $24.89 and saved $60.95 – a Savings of 71% and have a great stash of veggies/soups/pasta sauce. They were completely out of beans 🙁 My husband is our store shopper and he is back for his second trip of the day to get all the other stuff.
