I had yet another fun Publix trip today. After taking last week off because I was sick, I felt a bit out of sync shopping today. I know you all probably think that I go to Publix every day, but in reality I usually only shop at Publix once a week (unless it is an Italian Days sale and in that case I go every day ;)). I was chatting with some of you on Addicted to Saving’s Facebook page last night asking what you all were going to buy. At the time, I wasn’t seeing many outstanding sales items but now that I see what I was able to purchase, I think it is a pretty good Publix sales week! For all of you with the Winn Dixie store coupons, you are going to do amazing this week. I couldn’t find the booklets so I wasn’t working with those awesome coupons, but I still did great!
I did the gas card deal but I am not including the amount of money I spent on the card in my totals since a gas card isn’t grocery related. I highly recommend you take advantage of the gas card deal if you can afford it. In this week’s sales flyer is a $10.00 off $50.00 gas card when you spend $25.00 or more coupon. So, as long as you spend $25.00, you can get a $50.00 gas card for only $40.00! And with the rising gas prices this is an awesome way to save a little on your gas!
What deals are you liking this week? Did you find any steals that I missed?
The items I purchased today coincide with this week’s Publix Weekly ad. To see this week’s ad & coupon matchups, go HERE.

**Disclaimer**
1) My Publix allows us to use more than one of the same Publix store coupon and/or competitor coupon as long as I use one store or competitor coupon per item. Not all Publix locations allow this. You should ask customer service if they allow this before loading up your cart.
2) Not all Publix locations allow overage. If your Publix does not allow overage, they will usually adjust the value of the coupon down so that you receive the item for free.

What is the “value mailer” you mention with the Excedrin?
Hi Priscilla! I posted about the Free Excedrin (up to $5.99 in value) coupons back in December. The coupons are no longer available to request but if you requested the coupon back in December, this is a great week to use it! The coupons expire 3/31/11.
HEY THERE! i was looking at your YTD for 2010 of what you spent verse what you saved!!
Is this what you spent TOTAL for the year in ALL groceries you paid for or just when you were using the ats’s stuff?
either way to have gotten over 9,000$ worth of groceries for $900 is amazing…
Hi Becca! Your comment reminds me I need to update my 2011 savings! But yes, last year I spent $900 on all groceries, toiletries, etc 🙂
I definitely need to get that gas card, and thank you for the reminder to use my Exedrin coupons.
Your savings every week amazes me! I LOVE seeing how much you spend and saved. It motivates me to do better at my own shopping! 🙂
