I was up in the middle of the night last night and I was reading the Drudge Report on my phone. I have to tell you that last night I didn’t watch any live TV except for Extreme Couponing. So, I had absolutely no idea about the horrible storms and tornadoes that were ravaging Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia. I know that since my website is based in the South, I have countless readers in the southern states listed above and I wanted to type this to let you all know that you are in my thoughts and prayers! I hope that you are well and that your homes haven’t been damaged and that you remained safe and injury free.

It is bad in Georgia. Some places worse than others. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
I am adding you all to my prayers-does anyone know if any relief organazations are set up to take donations for this tragedy yet?
We are okay in Savannah right now and storms are just starting here. I would appreciate prayers for my husband though. He is out in the field with his fellow soldiers. I have not heard from him and am worried about him. Thanks!
Its such a welcome sight to see you adding prayers to your blog! I live in Greensboro, NC and we got strong storms but nothing as bad as whats been seen on TV. It is total devestation and my heart aches for these families. They say prayer works but some didnt have a chance….now all thats left is hope for better days and moving foward. I see blue skies and the sun right now, and I feel a little guilty to be happy about it. I must admit I am a little angered that these storms have taken so many lives too, and I’m not even in the mist of the damage 🙁 BTW Ashley, I moved from SAV area 3 yrs ago!
How neat is that! We currently live on Hunter. 🙂 Nice to meet a fellow frugal couponer.
I live in Alabama and have a lot of friends and family who have been affected by the tornados. Thank you very much for your prayers and concern!
I live in Hueytown, AL and thank God it missed our house. We appreciate all thoughts and prayers more than you could ever imagine! Even if your property wasn’t damaged it effects everyone here. I wish I had more of a stock pile to help with this!
My niece lives in a suburb of Gadsden, Alabama..Southside. Her family went over to her mother’s house who across the street is an old storm cellar and they all got in there! Thank The Lord it missed them by just a half mile if that and I pray for those it did hit. And when I say hit, it took out a new community that was built on a small island out on the Coosa River…..GONE! Still keep everyone in your prayers as I know we all do! Have a Blessed Day. Elise
