It’s another good week at CVS! This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax. If you have created a different scenario, leave a comment on this post with the scenario you plan to do!
If you are new to shopping at CVS, go HERE to read Intro to CVS.

**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc. which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Can you get 2 ECB deals for 2 of the same products? I thought you could get only 1.
Deborah says
I depends on the sale, there are limits per household (meaning per card), most of the time the limit is 1, but for instance 2 weeks ago there was the Revlon Nail Polish sale and had a limit of 6 per household. Just read your weekly ad and pay attention to the little print at bottom of every advertisement.
Deborah says
… and I forgot to mention that if they allow you more than one, the ecb will print in one single amount if you buy all the items in the same transaction. To make it clear, using the same previous example, the Revlon Nail Polish was $4.99 and there was ecb for $4.00, if you bought the 6 that they were allowing in one single transaction you would have ended with one single ecb for $24.00, which is not the best scenario unless your next purchase exceeds that amount.
I hope this makes sense and helps a little bit.
Mary says
Yes, it does. Thank-you very much! 🙂

I received a 25% off top customer shopping pass in the mail. It has to be used this weekend. Has anyone ever received on of these before? The exclude provision on it is very long… it also says exclues sale merchandise. I am looking to buy the netbook int he ad this week. ON the picture in the ad it says “WOW” it does not say sale. Do you think I can use this 25% to purchase the Netbook?
Addicted to Saving says
Hi Tammy! I would recommend you ask customer service BUT since the netbook deal is in the sales flyer (even if it does say WOW), I’m thinking you won’t be able to use it. Let me know though!
