Friendly hint – Don’t order diapers you are counting on getting any time soon! I’m kind of surprised this is back on Groupon since they had such a hard time fulfilling the orders from last time. I placed my groupon order May 20th. And although the site says ” Please Note Due To The Succes of Groupon Sales Our Delivery Time is Between 7-10 Business Days. We Thank You and We Appreciate Your Patience During This Growth Period” – my order STILL says pending after 16 days.

Good tip Rebecca! I just ordered diapers as a gift for a friend this past weekend and now I’ll know to let her know it won’t be arriving for a while. Keep me posted on when you get them!

I was going to do this deal but I don’t see any savings here. We have two in diapers and a third on the way. These diapers are no bargain. They are marked up incredibly high. Maybe I’m missing something but as far as I’ve seen on their site you can do much better buying from Walmart with a regular coupon. Don’t waste your money here.

I agree Tamara. This groupon is not a deal. Everything seems to be marked up more than double the regular stores. You are better off using a coupon in the store. Liza- I encourage you to not post this deal anymore. If you look at the website, you will see what we are talking about.

Hi Tamara and Jolie! I definitely see where you both are coming from! I actually placed an order this past weekend to send as a gift for a friend who just had a baby. While everything is definitely marked up, remember that the Groupon certificate is saving you 50% on your order. Now, if I was buying these diapers for myself, this is probably not the best avenue since I shop the drugstore deals and at Publix where I can use a store & manufacturer coupon.
But, if you are purchasing a gift for someone else, this could be a viable option. I ordered Huggies Little Snugglers SZ 1- 160 Ct which retailed for $48.47 (yes I know this is high) and one package of Nexcare Soft ‘n Flex Bandages One Size which retailed for $3.29. I realize these prices are higher than what we can find with sales in stores. But, don’t forget, I am saving 50% on the order since I bought the Groupon. My total for both purchases on Diapers Direct was $51.76 and after the Groupon, I owed only $1.76. So, out of pocket I spent $26.76 (price of Groupon plus $1.76 oop) on 160 diapers and a pack of bandaids. That makes each diaper less than $0.165.

I tried again but I get Huggies Little movers size 4. At 108 count It ends up .23 per diaper. I can’t make it work for that one. A good one for pampers swaddlers is Amazon Mom. Free Amazon Prime for a few months (free 2 day shipping) and an extra 15% off when you sign up for subscribe and save auto shipping (which can be cancelled anytime). I got a 204 count box for $29.74 (14.5 cents ea.) and free 2 day shipping. That one doesn’t work so far for the Little Movers either though. Love this blog! Thanks for all of your great tips!!!! I have saved tons!

I hear what you are saying and by no means meant that no one should buy it. It has its uses but I just want to make sure that they check the website before they get the groupon to make sure that it fits their needs. If you are shipping it to someone else that you don’t see in person, it can make a good gift. Just not for the mom that shops on coupons (like me):-) I originally had it in my groupon bin to purchase until I checked the website and realized that amazon would be better deal like tamara listed above. hopefully I am not one of the people that made you pull your hair out the other day. If I did, then I apologize!

You are good – don’t worry – I lost NO hair because of you! Here’s my honest opinion about DiapersDirect. They are not a good deal UNLESS you have a Groupon. (Seriously – take a look at their shipping costs w/o the Groupon!) And, even with the Groupon, you should be able to get a better deal using coupons – especially if you shop the drugstore deals. 🙂 But, not everyone does as many drugstore deals as you and I do – so just remember that for some people this is a great deal. And for me ordering diapers for my friend in Jacksonville, it was a great deal since the shipping was free. 🙂

I did finally hear back from a marketing exec at diapersdirect.com and apparently their warehouse was flooded by the recent storms in the midwest. They lost their “green” line of products, including 7th Gen line I had purchased. They were buying retail and shipping out, but it was taking more time. I received my order the next day, but it was partially incorrect. :/
On another note, I agree, I usually order through Amazon/Mom, but at 50% off this was a good deal. I would not use this site without the groupon deal, most certainly.

I ordered mid May and have not heard anything back from them in regards to my order shipping. I was also told about the damage delay but I started to doubt that excuse because every time I called, they said it was another problem with the warehouse or it had shipped already. My items have never arrived, and I can hardly get someone to call me back. When you do, they are rude, and will only tell you what you want to hear. I was told by one that my next two orders would be free if they did not arrive in the new time-frame and that too turned out to be false. save yourself the headache

I called the 1-800 number listed on the site today to follow up on my Groupon order and was automatically connected to a customer service representative in Spanish–twice! I asked for someone “en ingles” and the representative told me to hold, and then the call was disconnected. I hope to have more success via email…
