I did my Publix shopping trip early this week. Tomorrow I have an appointment during the time that I normally shop, so this week I got an early start on the new Publix sales. I have to admit that I came out of pocket a bit more than I would have desired. ($29.62) When I add that to the $52.00 I’ve already spent this month on groceries, that is a bit more than I normally spend in any given month. But I splurged a little as some of the sales weren’t quite “stock pile” prices. I am finding that when I first started couponing, I really made a game out of my shopping trips. I would literally see how close to $0.00 I could spend out of pocket. But now that I’ve been doing this for years, I’m starting to “relax” a bit and have a bit more fun. (Although, every now and then I make my shopping trips a game so don’t worry, you will see more of my crazy savings trips in the future ;)) I’m also trying hard to keep fresh produce in the house. I may actually have to go back for more soda. My husband and I don’t drink soda, but we are having a house full Saturday and I am thinking the three bottles I bought won’t cut it. If you do buy 2 liters of coke products, be on the lookout for hangtags. Coke 2 liters are on sale B2G1. The hangtag is Buy 2 Coke 2L, Get 1 Coke Zero 2L free. I am wondering why I do not have the Publix coupons in the 6/12/11 RP insert… perhaps they are not in all areas? You did great! I haven’t yet been able to get my bill under $40!
Hi Louise! I believe the coupons were regional. I know that when I posted about the coupons, many readers commented that they didn’t have the coupons in their inserts.
I am new to this theory. Although I feel like I did great this week. I spent $24.00 and saved $49.00!! I was so happy. My transaction included 20 Powerade and much much more!!

Could you have used two $5 off on $30 WD coupons if your total was at least $60?
You would have to split your order. The new policy only allows one competitor$ off coupon.
Yup – Bessymae – Carissa is totally correct. Also – be aware that some Publix locations will only let you use one coupon per customer meaning that they won’t let you use a second coupon in a second transaction. I would recommend you ask customer service before you start shopping to insure you know what to expect.

Hi Chrissi! The coupon came on the flyer that I received in the mail. The coupon is regional and sadly, we can’t print it out this time. You can check out Winn Dixie’s website to see if the ad in your area has the coupon and then go to the store to pick up the ad?
do 34655 and then click on the first store listed ,click on ad where the coupon is, you will be able to print coupon, BUT it does print very small, I have used those before and I do not clip it out, I bring the whole page just to show it is ligit, otherwise it looks too strange, it is so small, and teh manager once told me I did good giving out the entire page.

I just bought a case of dough from Sams this week. 20 dough balls that come out to $.78 cents each. Just a little over $15 for the whole case. We made grilled pizza the other night. Yum! If anyone is interested in doing this deal, you buy the dough at their little cafe area.
Tracee! I’m so excited you brought this up! Can you tell me – are the dough balls roughly the same size as Publix’s? I’m going to stock up on Sams Club dough as you are now the second person to recommend it! Also -does it come frozen?
ours always comes frozen- we just pull it out a day or two before we plan to do pizza and defrost in the fridge. 🙂
It was a great day at Publix. I planned on getting 20 powerade using (4) $1/5 printables but I got there and found HOT B10G5 hangtags! So I did some quick math and bought 16 powerades, used the B10G5 and (2) $1/5 printables and scored 16 powerades for $3! I also found peelies for $.70/1 ANY Kelloggs, and $1/2 Bare Naked Granola, both of which combined nicely with the BOGOs. And for the first time in MONTHS, they restocked Tylenol Precise!

I was tired of waiting for Publix to restock the Tylenol so I took the green flyer into Walmart and price matched it without the wait.
Yes, they come frozen and are about the same size as the Publix dough once thawed. I was very pleased!

I went into publix today only because I had a 5 off of 30 from WD. Turns out, my publix no longer takes WD coupons. I shopped at regency crossing in port richey, fl. When I exited the store, I saw a very generic green sign at the EXIT saying they only take sweet bay and save a lot coupons. Nice. Last week, no one in the store had a clue as to the publix/conagra deal. NOW… How did I miss the produce coupons? Unhappy in NPR, patty
Patty they changed about a month or so ago. The one in River Crossing will still take WD coupons and they also take Target.

Might just be our area- but if you plan to get more soda the CVS stores had Coke and other Coke products for $.79 -just in case you are out of those coupons.

Today was the last day to use the bayer asprin publix coupon all I could get was four that made me happy because I made 51 cents on each one and publix actually gave me the cash back!! It was awesome, they also had a good deal on diapers all huggies are 2 dollars off plus the 2 dollar manufactures coupon plus on the box there was a free tub of 72 count wet wipes (2.99)plus I had a 50C off man. coupon on huggies wet wipes and I asked first but she said I could use all those coupons so the total cost for the big box of diapers plus the wet wipes was 14.98 or something close to that plus the 2.04 I made on the asprin made my day!!!
CVS on the other hand is a bit tricky, I did find one store in Tampa that had two lip balms on the floor half under a display table I felt like it fell from heaven!! (no I didnt drive to Tampa just for that LOL!) So I got 10 dollar ecb then used it on six razors with the coupons and five bottles of soap and just paid the tax!!
Got a great deal on PowerAide at Publix. I was able to get the buy 10 get 5 free coupon. Also, with coupons that I printed, I was able to get a great deal on Bagel Bits. They are great for my son during the summer. The Carabou coffee was also a good deal. With the combination of manufacture and Publix coupons was able to get for $2.99.
I went to Publix yesterday and got a 77% savings rate. My highest ever! Thanks for all the work you do here!
