I am so excited to post the picture above! The picture above is of the military base in Vicenza, Italy that I send our expired coupons to each month. It is a picture of their Summer Quarterly Coupon Social. Look at all of those coupons!! I know that we have supplied a good amount of those coupons. You guys rock!!
Along with the above picture, they also sent the message below:
Thanks to coupon donors like you, Army Community Service (ACS) is able to provide a coupon program to help save Vicenza’s military families countless dollars on their commissary purchases and basic living expenses. Our program is currently run by 25 dedicated volunteers who sort the incoming coupons and tape them, weekly, onto products carried by our commissary. The ACS Financial Readiness Program is also able to provide our military community with quarterly coupon socials. Our most recent social was held on May 13th and May 16th, with over 45 community members in attendance! This is the greatest turnout we’ve ever had, and indicative of the program’s growing popularity. We receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from our community members regarding this service, and we couldn’t do it without your help.
It makes me so happy that all of us are able to help these amazing families. A huge thank you to everyone for sending me your coupons every month! I know that you have to pay for postage and I appreciate your generosity. Every monthwe are receiving more and more coupons from all of you so in the next couple of months I may adopt another military base so that we can help two bases each month!
Below are the requirements if you are interested in with Addicted to Saving’s Couponing for the Troops. I ask that you please take the time to sort and cut your coupons per the instructions below:
1) Mail your expired coupons to: Addicted to Saving, PMB 105, 8348 Little Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34654
2) Send me all coupons that expired ON or AFTER June 1st. (Commissaries will accept older expireds, but I’m only going to send one monthold coupons since I will do this once a month)
3) Do not send me printable coupons and do not send store coupons (i.e. Target, Publix, Walgreens etc) because commissaries overseas will not accept them.
4) Please Please Please cut your coupons out and then separate your coupons into two categories Food & Nonfood. If you mail all of your coupons to me in one envelope, use an elastic or paperclip to keep the two categories separated. Food is considered anything eaten by humans.. Food is also considered gum. Nonfood is considered toiletries, dogfood or catfood (since it’s not consumed by humans), vitamins, medicine, etc. Again – please cut your coupons.
That’s it! I will do the rest of the work! I need all of your expired June coupons in my hand by July 15 th!

I have some coupons from my parents (they live in a different state) that have expired but they are older than the ones you are sending should I just send them with mine or not?
Addicted to Saving says
Hi Angie! Since it takes time to sort through the coupons on my end and then for the coupons to get to Italy, I try not to accept coupons that are too old.. But, if you have coupons that have expired on or after April 30th, I will definitely take them! Thank you so much for helping!

Thank you for posting the picture and letting us know what was said on the note. It is great to see we are helping out. I have my granddaughter seperate the coupons. This way she is doing her part too.
Again, thank you so much for helping these families out.

Getting mine gathered. I try to pull them as they expire so there isnt so much work at the end of the month.
