My weekly grocery trip occurred at 5 pm today (Friday). It has been SO rainy that with the gloomy weather plus my struggle to get back to reality after a short trip to Colorado, I just didn’t want to leave the dryness of my house! But I did finally go and was able to take advantage of one my favorite deals – BOGO Emerald Peanuts when I have $1/1 coupons! 🙂 I can’t say that you will find my totals or purchases overly impressive. Today was truly a stockpile day with my nuts, pasta and tuna purchases. I added a few other deals – free Johnson & Johnson first aid kits and cheap Caribou coffee.. But really, it was a boring shopping day!

I just bought those first aid travel kits this morning at CVS , they are priced at .99 cents and I used those $3/2 blinkies.
Heading to Publix tonight after work, have it all planned out… should be another good week of savings!

I bought Luigi’s today too…bought them last time they were bogo. just a FYI there should be a .5c off 1 coupon inside the boxes!! mine had it last time so i used both today..and sure enough.. there is 2 more in these boxes!! YAY love Luigi’s!!!

Where did you get the Enjoy the City booklet for WD?
I live in your general are. I typically go to the Mitchell Ranch Publix (on the corner of Little and 54). I went today at 12pm and I had to get FOUR rainchecks. Also the produce just stinks! What Publix are you going to that you are finding things on sale. I have four children and my husband works so much that I acutally have to hire a sitter just to go shopping. I am extremely disappointed every week because no only to I have to hire a sitter and spend money on that, but I also miss out on several deals. I appreciate getting rainchecks, but honestly I would rather avoid the fuss!

I went to Publix yesterday and got a few good deals. My favorite was the BOGO Dove Deodorant. With coupons, my price was $.75 each. I also got Smucker’s Magic Shell topping for $.39. They weren’t on BOGO, but with the combination of store and manufacturer’s coupons, I thought it was good price.
The cashier I had was friendly, but somewhat incompetent. Exactly why it’s a good idea to keep their coupon policy in my purse!

We went to Publix yesterday to get all of the deals. Southgate Publix on US 19. We tried to get the Sundown vitamins and the Jumbones. But the cashier said that we couldn’t use a coupon on each item. Cause the coupon read “Limit one coupon per purchase”. She even went and asked the manager. I don’t understand we have done this a million times. We are actually purchasing both items.
Has any one else ran into this problem?

Did you buy two Sundown vitamins, use the $6 off 2 in the green flyer and two Sundown manufacture coupons? If so, there isn’t any reason why they should not have let you do it. You can only do 1 of those deals per transaction tho.
Can’t “show” but I can tell about my deal today. We missed the toothpaste, they were wiped clean, but here was my deal. (I just stocked up on good deals, I was already set this week with groceries and I go in the AM while they are stocking shelves so I don’t clear them.)

Kendera try the one by trouble creek the only way I managed to get the deals this week was by waking up super early and had everything planned out and was at the store as soon as it opened..I went back at night for more pasta and they were all gone!! I think a lot of people in this area are into couponing..Its getting hard..I pretty much am fed up with cvs!
@Yasmin – I found the same problem when I went shopping Friday evening. I was talking to some of the Publix employees and they kept saying that everyone is coming in talking about Addicted to Saving. Hmmm… So maybe I am to blame for all the empty shelves?? 🙂

No I think many of us down here are in the same boat and we all need to save a little. I personally am trying to continue to stay home with my little girl for as long as I can.
I dont mind having to wait and I dont get mad at publix because they are awesome if something runs out I know they will get it back and they are good with rainchecks and sometimes they will staple my coupons so that if it expires they will honor it. So I dont mind it I do mind the greedy ones! When I went in the morning I only took 8 boxes of pasta to split with my mom and I figured I would leave some for the next persona and I would come back later for the rest plus if I dont find it I know I could get a raincheck! I always believed to treat people and things the way I would want to be treated thats why Im trying to keep as fair as possible with my couponing. I also only took 2 toothpastes and figured I would get some more towards the end of the week!!

It was an Advantage Buy sale that ended 7/8.
I tried to get the Caribou Coffee deal, but it was ringing up for $8.99 in my store. I didn’t realize that it was an Advantage sale that ended on 7/8! AND I JUST found the Smart Savings Booklet with the $2 Publix coupon on Saturday! My stores have not had any of these new booklets lately, so I missed the deal. 🙁
