This was an awesome week to shop at Publix. We live on coffee (I’m drinking a cup right now) and so I bought 8 bags of Eight O Clock coffee. (I may go back for more – yes we drink THAT much coffee) And, we LOVE Feta Cheese so I was able to stock up on 8 containers of President Feta. (This type of cheese freezes really well.) I am actually using a new computer we just got and can you believe I still haven’t figured out how to hook it up to our printer? So, my goal is to figure it out before the sale is over so I can print out two more $3/2 feta cheese coupons. 🙂 The feta and coffee are at rock bottom prices but are still a bit “pricey”, so I went into Publix today knowing I would be spending more than usual. It was a great day to snag a few freebies – Zantac, Papermate Pens, scissors and Kellogg’s Mini Wheats Touch of Fruit. I was also able to share two of my $1.00/1 Kellogg’s Mini Wheats Touch of Fruit coupons with a customer who was standing in the cereal aisle. She was going to get a different type of mini wheats but when I showed her she could get two boxes for $0.99 each with my coupons, she immediately put her boxes away. Love it! I also have to give a huge thank you to Melissa R for sending me the awesome Publix coupon where you get a $10.00 Publix gift card when you spend $50.0. Thank you so much for sharing it with me – I put it to good use today!

Thank you so much for admitting this! Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who feels this way! haha. When I see other people washing dirty dishes and touching them with their bare hands it totally skeeves me out! 🙂
Thanks for sharing the fact that the Feta cheese will freeze well. How can I get more than two of these coupons?
Hi Stephen! I love the fact that it freezes well! It may change consistency a little but I am usually throwing it into or onto dishes where I don’t notice the change! If you have a second computer you should be able to print two more coupons out. (If I recall you may have to sign up for an account w/ them and if that is the case, use a second email address of yours if you have one.) Or, you could have friends/family/neighbors/etc print the coupon out for you. I even had a friend who would go to the library and print coupons out there. 🙂 Good luck!
Were the Eight O Clock coffee coupons in the SS 6/5/11 insert? I don’t have them in mine. I don’t ever remember seeing coupons for them in the inserts. I was able to print the $2/2 from the Eight O Clock site, but I need more coffee too! 🙂
Hi Kathy! Yes – the coupons were in my 6/5 insert. In fact, my insert had both $1/1 coupons and $2/2 coupons.. It may have been regional? If you really like this brand/deal, it might not hurt to look into purchasing some clipped coupons.. OR – use other computers and email addresses to print more coupons 🙂

Stephanie – I have an awesome chicken, pasta, pine nuts and feta recipe. It is super cheap too if you have everything in your stockpile. Let me look to see if I can find the recipe online and if so, I will leave you another comment. The feta pretty much dissolves in the recipe and just adds a bit of flavor. It is super good. Let me do some research tonight and I’ll report back to your comment with what I find. 🙂

Carmen – Pine Nuts are so good!! Especially if you toast them just a little. The pasta dish I am talking about I add the toasted pine nuts to the top of the pasta before eating. Super good. They are super expensive though! I bought a bag with a Groupon deal a while back and I keep them frozen and just use as needed. 🙂
I love adding feta cheese to my dinner pies, it goes so well with so many ingredients.

My OOP today was 51.14 and my total savings was 130.99. The best I have done at Publix yet, usually it is just 50% not 72%.
The $10 coupon was in last weeks Publix mailer (delivered Wednesdays) in Pinellas. It is a free $10 Publix gift card with a $50 purchase. Expires the 19th I believe.

How come you did not have any Pepperidge Farm cookies? All the coffee bags at my Publix had peelies on them for a free bag of cookies w/purchase of the coffee.
