Today’s Publix shopping trip was a fun one! I’ve had a jam packed week so walking through Publix and spending a little time away from my computer was refreshing. (I must say that sometimes it is so nice to be able to take advantage of the deals I post ;)) I replenished my dwindling pasta sauce stockpile and I was able to score what seemed like tons of awesome deals! I did take advantage of the $10.00 off $50.00 Gas Gift Card deal. This is a great deal if you can afford to spend $40.00 on a gas card! I didn’t add the gift card into my amount spent (shown below) because the gas card goes under our gas budget. I also want to make a note that I used 10 of the $0.75/1 Bertolli Sauce Target store coupons (found in the 8/7/11 Target Insert – I ordered the inserts online since my papers didn’t include them). I normally only use one Target coupon in one transaction but these coupons did not limit one coupon per transaction. Despite this, not all stores will allow you to use multiples of the same coupon so ask your customer service first to make sure you can do it.
I’m still set on chicken. I have at least 30 lbs of boneless, skinless, chicken breast stockpile courtesy of Zaycon Foods, go HERE to read how to score awesome deals on boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I do need, however, lean ground beef so I will have to find a good deal soon.

Hey Liza, Have you thought about combining the Gas cards from this week with the Winn Dixie Fuel Perks? I have 70 cents off per gallon right now, I’m thinking if I buy the Shell gas cards at Publix this week..then that’s saving MUCH MUCH MORE! What do you think??

Scored on Gillette men’s body wash for $1.49 each and Dial lotion bogo was $6.99 had a dollar coupon and $6 in extra care bucks.
I wanted to buy the Bertolli Pasta Sauce too, but when I checked Target’s web site Monday (and today), they did not have the coupon listed. Guess if a bunch of people print 10 each, there are not enough to go around.
Lisa – the $0.75/1 Bertolli Pasta Sauce coupon is from this past Sunday’s Target Coupon Insert. (The insert was regional) This was not a printable coupon but an insert coupon. If you have the insert from Sunday, then you can take advantage of the deal as well.
i was sad to see that the tampa tribune did not have the target coupon:( and i got 10 this time! i tried to look in the recyclbles but i guess my neighborhood likes to save money too
just an FYI. at my PUBLIX near me they had an end cape with wine an BERTOLLI sauce. They had coupons that was a $1.00 off the bottle of wine and a 1.00/2 bertolli sauces expires 10/06/11. I also missed out on the TARGET insert from St. Pete times last week. I bought TAMPA but, the 1.00/2 is better than nothing. Thanks for all you do. LIZA.. GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING…
My Publix doesn’t honor Target coupons (not a competitor), but there’s a Target Superstore less than 2 miles away. I think it’s time to start making some “noise” to Publix corporate…polite noise of course. =)
However, I still stacked as much as I could and also made a funny little “snack confessions” video to get $1/1 coupon from Riceworks via Facebook. Riceworks is BOGO this week at Publix too. A great product for those who are looking for GLUTEN-FREE.
I spent $18.64 & saved approx $50 this week.

We’ve stocked up on a ton of pens with that Target Coupon for papermate and the Publix 2/$1 sale on them that has been going on for weeks and weeks. The store should have bumped the Q value to $0.50 though and not given overage. The coupon states Coupon Value can not exceed value of item purchased. All the Publix’s around me recognize this coupon and only take off only $0.50, overage would be great though. 😉

This week was my first week of shopping at Publix after taking your class in w to do this.Largo. My husband was very proud of savings. My total before savings and coupons was $140.00. I ended up paying $43. I thought for my first time I did really good. Thank you for taking the time to teach us how to do this.

First week of following your add and I saved a ton from Walgreens, CVS & Publix. I took my husband to help me out! Got the gas card from CVS & Publix so I have $20 in free gas. I’m sending my daughter back to college next week with at least 11 boxes of cereal, pasta sauce, snack bars and much more. Thanks for your website.
this was a great week totally, got 14 bottles of soft scrub 6 bottles of lysol 12 whiska treats 8 alpo big cans and 150 dollars in gas!!! of coarse there were lots of other things included like 8 different vitamins and 6 detergents plus 14 bic pencils and 14 papernmate pens(but that wasnt all either)!! bottom line was 159 rounded off spent and i got 2 more ten dollar gift cards! the cashier was so impressed she asked me where i get all my good deals so she took down the website to check out deals for herself;)
But the best part was i didnt even use out of pocket money, they were all (excluding the budgeted gas money of 130) paid for with previous publix gift cards! yey me im finally doing it right! thanks liza

Did you have to split your trip or do two trips to get the 8 soft scrub? I wanted to stock up but the coupon specifies “limit 4 like coupons in the same shopping trip”.
Hi Lindsay! I asked and was allowed to use all of my coupons in one transaction. I’ve learned that if I ask ahead of time, often I am able to use them all at once.
