So today I had expiring ECBs ($13.50 Extra Care Bucks to be exact) and I really wanted to do my best to purchase items that would give me more ECBs. I did a somewhat decent job of that when I did the John Frieda & the Mylanta Deal. How did you do this week at CVS? Did you all score the FREE Skinny Cow Ice Cream? (As you can see, I did not…) My only complaint is how much I was taxed today. I know that should be a minor complaint, but my total owed before tax was $0.17 but after tax my total was $1.47!

I did my CVS trip today too…did pretty good too, even touh it was a smal trip! 2 Rolaids Soft Chews, 3 boxes Special K cereal, 2 bags of Gold Emblem candy, $1 donation to Lou Gehrig’s disease. Total $22, after coupons $12, used $10 ECB, paid remaining $2 using gift card I got for a new prescription, got back $9 ECB. The funniest part about my trip was that my husband called me as I was walking in the store and said “i know i’m supposed to let you know ahead of time instead of when i’m completely out of something, but i’m out of tums…can you get me some, or store brand, or whatever?” “Well, honey, you’re in luck!”
