Do you have any tips on how to organize your register rewards so that you don’t use them on the same company product again on a later purchase?
EX: Buy a $5 RR wyb Gillette Fusion ProGlide $9.89 deal. The $5RR says manufactures coupon from P&G
If I purchase a P&G product next week, another RR will not print even if it’s a different deal. Do you just check every item in your order to make sure you do not have any P&G items? Do you make other notes on your RR?
I try to use them quickly by adding extra items, but how much stuff can one girl use???

Hi Michelle! I definitely understand your dilemma with RRs. My biggest challenge is using them before they expire! What I would recommend is write on the back of the RR what you bought. That way, you can quickly determine whether you are using the RR on the same deal or a different deal in your next transaction. So, like you said, if you bought PG products to receive a $5RR, write down the products/deal on the back so that next week you can make sure you use the RRs on a different deal.
For me, my new goal is to no longer roll RRs.. Well, to clarify, I will roll my RRs from one transaction to a next within one shopping trip but once that trip is over, I will use the remaining RRs on paper products. I can’t keep up with the quick expiration dates for them so I am using them right then and there.
I was there today and my store has a big display that says $.69 for the V05, there was no limit/date posted. So I was able to get 14 bottles for $.69 each 🙂 I used my pepsi RRs to get them..
Also my store has a lot of clearance on office/school supplies. Boxes of 50 peel and stick envelopes were $.49 and 3 packs of click and print sharpies were $1.49.
yesterday they would not let me use the Dentyne gum manufacture coupon, only the store coupon. They said they did not allow overage. the gum was on sale for .66 cents each
I just received $15 (3 of them…a $10, a $3 and a $2) today in register rewards. I’m a newbie and there is something I don’t understand. I was looking at the RR coupon and it says “Total number of manufacturer coupons/register rewards cannot exceed the number of items in the transaction.” So does that mean when I go to use these I can only buy 3 items? That can’t be, can it?

Great job at Walgreens Jennifer! Okay. Here is the thing with Walgreens. Walgreens only allows one manufacturer coupon per item. Walgreens considers RR (Register Rewards) to be manufacturer coupons. So, if you are buying three items and have three coupons for the items AND three RRs to use, you won’t be able to do the deal. However, if you buy the 3 items AND buy 3 filler items (filler items are the cheapest items you can find) you will be able to use your 3 RRs and 3 coupons since you are buying a total of 6 items. Does this make sense? Let me know and I can expound further if necessary! 🙂
