    Oh I’d LOVE to win a laptop…that makes me giddy just thinking about it. I have a pc…not a laptop…and we bought my pc when my son was 9 months old (he’s almost 9 now!). I think that’s kind of ancient in computer terms. It works pretty well – can’t complain but wow, a laptop would be a treat!! Couldn’t afford to buy one but winning one would be awesome! 🙂

    I am a returning college student getting my RN and raising three kids. My oldest and I would really benefit with a laptop in order to get school assignments and such accomplished. It would be especially useful to do this and be portable, so as to always be available to the kids without having to be in the other room on the home computer.

    I would love to win a new laptop because my current one is bogged down and likes to blue screen me. I would love having new, reliable one to move my writing over to; I am an aspiring author and it would also make it easier to back up – I’ve already lost one hard drive full of ideas I only wrote on there and several stories and scripts of which I didn’t have a chance to print a hard copy.

    I would love the opportunity to win this laptop from Addicted To Saving! I am a teacher at a middle school and a high school in Florida. While I know many students who would love to receive a laptop; I believe I would keep the laptop for my classroom use to benefit ALL students! The current district issued computer in my classroom is very old and does not allow me to use the CD/ROM option. As I’m sure you can imagine, the CD/ROM is extremely beneficial in a classroom as many books come with CDs for workbooks and other learning options. Also, the computer is extremely old so I am unable to stream videos and other educational resources to the projector screen to benefit their learning. This would be a wonderful gift seeing as how many district budgets do not have the funds to replace everyone’s computers. Thank you for the opportunity!

    Oh my gosh, this would be the most perfect time to win a laptop! My fiance just got hired at a new company and has to leave for Brazil in a month for 5 weeks of training. We’ve been trying to figure out how we could communicate with each other and how I could send him pics of our baby girl while he is away. We want to buy another laptop but all of our extra cash went into expediting his passport/paying for the expenses associated with a new job.     My husband and I would love to get my 72-year old father-in-law set up with a computer, especially for staying in touch with him and keeping him interested in new things. I have been using a netbook that my brother-in-law gave me but I am going to be taking classes that will be to much for the netbook!     I lost my job, my husband is a police officer so I can’t use his work computer, ours broke 6 months ago. We have four kids, one starts college on Aug 23rd and we have had to choose between paying for his books or a computer.     I am in desperate need of a new computer because I listened to my brother. That was a costly mistake. Now I know better. He advised me to buy a certain brand computer, because he loves them. I didn’t have a good experience with one but went with his advice anyhow. After 2 in warranty repairs, I had no access to the computer for 3 months combined. Right after the warranty expired, the workmanship of the warranty claim fell through and I paid out of pocket for bad workmanship on the computer company’s behalf. That cost me enough money and time where I was suggested to begin couponing to keep myself within a decent budget. Now I fixed the computer just last week after much headache, yet it isn’t quite reliable. I doubt it will last me another month. That is the LAST time I listen to my brother. 🙂

    I would like to win this laptop because we NEED it. We are a homeschooling family. In addition to buying all our own school curriculum we still pay taxes supporting public schools. Affording high-priced electronics like this is difficult. Our children’s educations could benefit from the use of a laptop for our homeschool. Our desktop PC is on its last leg and barely loads programs from discs. Internet use is next to impossible.

Well, unbelievably, now is the time that my laptop decides to act up and is on its way out also. Buying one laptop is bad enough, but now we need two. And we both need them for school.     My computer is so old and slow that it takes at least 2 minutes to open up every page. I can tell you that because my computer is so slow I’ve learned a lot of patience and am quite good at playing solitaire now while researching and printing coupons. I recently got into couponing and it is really helped the family budget. I tell my friends at work that we haven’t eaten this good in a long time. I have a son who just started college and my husband has been out of work for over 2 years now so I can’t afford to buy a new computer, so I’d really love to win a new one.
