    I would be estatic to win this latop because I have 30 kids who NEED it. I am a high school teacher for the Deaf. I am the ONLY D/HH Teacher at my school. I dont get a huge budget, and with all the cuts I was told I wouldnt be geting a computer in my classroom for my students. I would love to buy one for them but to be honest thats not affordable for me right now. My students have low socio-econimic status’ so I usually have to be the one to buy the supplies for them etc. Deaf students learn best through interactive lessons, technology, and visuals best since they can’t hear. Plus its high school. All of my lessons should include technolog so we really would be so grateful to win this.

    I would also like to add however the majority of my Deaf students do not have parent/family involvement at home, and not all of them even have access to technology at home. So thats another reason this laptop would go far with them. I need to get them ready for college, and jobs as well.

    Because our PC is out in the computer room, which is cut off from the rest of the house. So when I am on it, I kind of miss out on most every thing. It would be nice to be able to do the things I need to do in the company of my family or at night when I am snuggled up on the couch watching TV. The portability of one would be a plus also

    The reason I would like to win the Acer laptop is because I’m a Freshmen in college, and as a college student this would be very helpful for note taking, and doing homework between classes. Also we only have an old Sony desktop from 2000, and its failing us slowly.
