I start student teaching this fall semester and it would just make my workload that much lighter by being able to bring a laptop to the school with me to get work done throughout the day as I find opportunities.     I would LOVE to win a new laptop because the one we currently have (which is an Acer) is on its last leg. In order to type in our password we have to have the computer unplugged when we turn it on, put in the password let the page load then plug it back it in. The battery is broken & so is the internal plug so we have mess with the plug to get it to actually connect. We’ve had it repaired for randomly shutting off but it still does it. We are desperately in need of an new laptop especially since we have a teenager daughter who needs it for school.

I have to live with relatives who are elderly with not much time to live, and I use other people’s computers for Internet access but need to be Independent.     I have been recently widowed. And along with that I had triple bypass surgery. My computer is my lifeline with the outside. The current laptop I have is one that the screen is broken. I would love to have a new laptop…just to stay in touch

    I would like to win this Acer laptop because I am the sponsor for my high school’s newspaper. I have a staff of 10 and only have 3 computers for them to use for their assignments. All of the computers were purchased with my money, with no reimbursement. Our school is technology poor and has very limited funds. Funding must go to purchase necessities, not computers for the newspaper.

    My little genius daughter is in need of her own computer. I am not saying that because she’s my daughter. She reads and understood 1st grade level @ 2 1/2 yrs old and now higher level with big words. she knows her countries at a very young age basic addition, and much, much more I can go on forever… just because she’s my daughter right? 🙂 I’ve tape to prove it, and all my customers in Pasadena TX can tell you how smart she is. Just spend 1 day with her and you will be surprised. She is now just turned 4 and have never been in school. Most of her knowledge is self taught thru using my computer. I never have to forced her to learn. She loves to read. Please help, she really needs a computer of her own so she won’t be on mine. She will be smarter than her parents soon I think.
