My hero is my mom. So cliche, but she immigrated to this country (legally, lol) with an elementary (if even that) education. She always worked minimum wage jobs but somehow she was able to single-handedly take care of me and my brother, as well as later on buy her own house. She wonders how her kids, although they have good paying jobs, are always “broke”, lol. She really knew how to save and conserve money.

My hero is my hubs! He works hard to provide for us & has taken such good care of me after I had to have surgery last week. Despite long hours at the office all week, he got up early Sunday morning just to get my newspapers (they sell out fast) and he did 3 transactions. Started with $1 RR and with less than $1 OOP, he got 4 papers, 2 Biotrue, 1 dial, 3 folders, 1 pack of pens, and a $4RR to use next week! If that weren’t enough, he then drove to CVS and got the MM Dulcolax with 4 Betty crocker warm delights that are BOGO (used four .75/1 mq’s) cuz I’ve been craving choc lava cake & these are soooo good! I <3 him!
