Addicted to Saving Giveaway – 7+ $5/30 Publix Store Coupons: 20 Winners!

If you live near Temple Terrace, FL, then the Publix Take Your Budget by the Horn coupon booklets in the picture above probably look very familiar to you.  You may remember me posting about this awesome find (go HERE to see my post about it).

Well, thanks to my generous inside source (for whom I am so grateful!!!!), 20 readers are going to score an awesome Addicted to Saving giveaway – at least seven $5/30 Publix Store coupons that will keep you saving well into next year!  I wrote 7+ in the title because the booklet allows for one $5/30 coupon to be used in September, one for October, etc, all the way until March 2012. However, there are two more coupons for April and May at the end of the booklet, but for some reason have expiration dates of 2011.  I’m thinking there’s a mistake, so if you win, just mention this to customer service before you go through all of the coupons and they may let you use them.

The value of coupons for this giveaway is $700, so there’s lots of money to be saved by 20 of you – good luck!

    I coupon a little so I save an average of 50% on my grocery bill at Publix so for a family of 6 I spend about $100 a week. I use to average more but then my Publix stopped taking Target coupons 🙁

    We spend around $400.00 per month even with my couponing because my husband is addicted to red meat. With my couponing I’m saving around $100.00/month on the luxury items that we wouldn’t buy if it wasn’t for coupons. All the family enjoy the treats. If I could do away with the meat we would only spend around $200.00/month. Of course I’m dreaming.

    I spend anywhere from around $20-$45 a week on groceries since I started couponing. Depends on sales and how much I have to buy. Which is awesome compared to how much I used to spend! 🙂 I shop for 4 people fixing to be 5, plus help out with my MIL since she works for the public school system and sometimes has a hard time buying groceries, especially during the summer when she’s not able to work.

    I don’t even know how much I used to spend before discovering couponing. All I know is that most of our money left over after paying bills used to go to the local grocery stores. I hated it and always knew that it was the one expense I could control, but didn’t know how. Now I LOVE going to the store and get so excited over all the great deals I find (with Addictedtosaving.com’s help).     Ok, so.. if I would have been asked this back in April (I went back into my bank account and totaled it) I was spending $1300+ a month between Target, Walmart, Publix CVS and Walgreens (ok, so this is including some stuff outside of “Groceries” ) HOWEVER since, I started couponing in April, I am down to right at $500 a month on EVERYTHING for a family of four (including two kids in diapers) THAT IS HUGE to us!!     Here is a “guestimate”, because it really varies (how much I spend on groceries for my family each month): $400 to $500 …. The more diligent I am at couponing, the better the savings! I have an Excel spreadsheet that lets me set a budget, plug-in my receipts, coupon savings, store sale savings, etc. and lets me see what I spend & what I save, but I’ve got to get busy “plugging in” the info. from the saved receipts again!

    I do spend more on my groceries because I have a larger family (7) and meat is something that everyone in this house loves… so that being said, we spend alot on meat, and fresh produce. *sigh* However, I do save a ton of money on alot of my household products and things like cereal, crackers, ect. But my stockpile dwindles down very fast because there are so many people always eating from it. :/ Probably, $450-$500 month. Ouch.
