As you know, every Wednesday night, I hold live chats on Addicted to Saving’s Facebook page during the new episodes of Extreme Couponing. This fall, we are doing things different though! I will hold a live chat about Extreme Couponing but I will also hold simultaneous live chat for all of you who do not watch extreme couponing! So, if you want to talk about the show, or if you don’t watch the show you can use the time to ask me any questions you might have.
So Wednesday at 10 pm EST, I will be onAddicted to Saving’s Facebook page. TLC will air one new episode of Extreme Couponing. My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed. I launched Addicted to Saving in November of 2009 and it has grown by leaps and bounds. Since then, my hubby and I have struggled with the ups and downs of two failed adoptions and are now LOVING being parents to our little man Asher who we brought home from Ethiopia in August of 2013. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to help you save money. My goal is that you will have FUN and become empowered to save more and more money each week..
I started watching the show a few weeks ago when I started my couponing adventure and honestly I will probably no longer watch this show. I dvr’d alot of the old episodes to get caught up and I stopped watching an episode mid through, because the guy had one room dedicated to about 5000 tubes of toothpaste. Alot of these people are stingy and greedy. They give couponers a bad name by clearing shelves of stuff they do not even use. I do have to say that I admire the few that are donating to homeless shelters and one lady that I saw, was feeding her parrish. I give props to them! One lady was buying numerous amounts of diapers just for the sake of it, and did not even have kids…. sad.
