I have been very intimidated by this deal in the past because I felt uncomfortable buying a meter that I would never use. However, I decided to try the deal out and I will donate and give away all of the meters. It’s a win win! Since I buy several newspapers every Sunday, I was able to do this deal 6 times.

Walgreens will give you 5 RR (Register Rewards) when you buy a Bayer Contour or a Bayer Breeze 2 Glucose Meter. They are on sale right now for $14.99. In the 10/25 RP (October 25th’s Red Plum Coupon insert) there is a $30.00 off Bayer Meter coupon.
So, if you buy one meter, give one $30/1 coupon, you will owe $0.00 when you check out – you won’t even owe tax! AND, the cashier will then give you 5RRs! (For Walgreens newbies, RRs are like CASH except they have expiration dates!)

I hope you knew that when u purchased one Bayer Breeze monitor AND one Bayer Contour monitor at the same time it would print out a total of $13 in RR!! $3 more than buying them seperatly. Got this info from Michelle at IHeartSavingMoney.com. I did this deal 3 times and got $39 in RR…woohoo!
Hi Jamie – Yes I knew that 🙂 We did that deal once. The other times, we had to do separate transactions. Walgreens is tricky as it seems every store has different policies and/or cashiers with different levels of knowledge!
