I am your biggest fan! 🙂
I’ve been using cloth napkins for 35 years and use washable cloths rather than paper towels to clean up spills.
We just put a new roof on our house and used energy saver shingles.
I use natural cleaners rather than chemicals and recycle anything I can.
we’ve started to cut down on water usage. By taking shorter showers and not wasting food. Traded in regular light bulbs for the eco friendly ones..We now use our reusable shopping bags instead of the plastic ones at the stores.
I am now a subscriber:)
I liked Addicted to Savings on FB!!
Got to try Cascadian Farm products with all the great deals I got from Publix a couple of weeks ago….love them!!!!
We are recycling our paper and water bottles. We switched all of our light bulbs and we planted a tree last year.
We changed all of our lightbulbs to the energy efficient ones, always use Publix reusable bags, recycle everything, and make sure that we are using as little power/water as possible. Oh,and I am also making my own baby food, which doesnt require special packaging like store bought items.
Hi – We are very committed to “greening” up our lives. Last year we gave up using paper napkins & now only use cloth. We are working very hard to get ALL the chemicals out of our house in the form of cleaners, plastics, parabens, etc. We only buy local produce, organic whenever possible, but always local & seasonal. We eat a meatless meal 1-2 times per week minimum. No more bottled water – no soda – no juice boxes. We use reusable containers for lunches & refillable bottles for water and the WHOLE family packs a lunch including hubby!

We use canvas bags for our groceries. We also recycle at our home.
I only run the dryer at night (to keep it from making the house warmer), I only wash on cold and I no longer use the “extra temp” on my dishwasher! Oh, and I ALWAYS use canvas bags:)
I’m already a fan! We love Cascacian Farms, and we always use natural cleaners around the house. Thanks for the giveaway!
I have been a fan for awhile. Your tutorials helped me so much. We use natural cleaners, recycle almost everything, and have a compost pile for the rest.

We have changed all our light bulbs to more “earth-friendly” ones. I also have started a recycled paper bin in our home. We keep our AC set no lower than 78 degrees. Last of all, we re-use all those plastic grocery bags for all sorts of things such as my bathroom garbage cans, picking up doggy poop, etc…
Recycling and reusable bags for my fam!

As for a greener life, where should I begin? I use an eco-friendly bag. If I can carry items to the cash register, I carry them out of the store without a bag (like at Lowe’s). I do not use styrofoam. I do not use napkins unless absolutely necessary. I separate my recyclables even though it’s not required… and lots more!
We have been using a lot less paper towels and paper napkins by using cloth ones. The napkins just get thrown in with loads of laundry, so I am not doing anymore laundry. We use rags instead of paper towels. I also have become obsessed with using reusable bags at the store. That does backfire occasionally because I often reuse the plastic bags I acquire and sometimes I need one and am completely out!
We use reusable containers in lunch boxes.
We use reusable bags at the store.
We use cloth napkins when we eat, we recycle (especially all our newspapers), and we may as well set up a girls clothing co-op with our three daughters and my 3 nieces with whom we share clothes!!
…I’m still a huge fan; still get the daily e-mails!! 🙂
I liked Addicted to Savings on FB…and of course love Cascadian Farm!
I’m a super huge fan
Love love love the daily newsletter
Working towards a greener life is more a necessity than a challenge and something I feel strongly about. To start, we have 4 large recycle bins in the garage – paper, glass, metal, plastic. I keep reusable bags/totes in the vehicle so I always grab them when going into any store. No unnecessary electricity is left on, plugged in or unchecked. Don’t waste water and I’m even in the process of retraining ourselves to quit using paper plates, paper napkins and paper towels.
I recently bought a large bag of “garage towels” from BJ’s to use for household chores instead of paper towels. They are great for cleaning and leave no lint on mirrors or glass.
Love your site and daily e-mails.
I am a face book fan too. We also have switched all of our light bulbs to the CFL. I am using my reuseable bags and I put out a large recycle bin filled tot he brim weekly. I also work in an Silver Certified LEED green building.
We have changed our lightbulbs and use reusable bags for shopping. We have also unplugged things that we don’t use regularly and stopped using bottled water at home.

we started recycling.
We recycle everything we can, we buy from our local farmer’s market as much as possible to support local growers, and when we can’t buy it locally we buy organic whenever possible.
Thanks for this contest opportunity. We reuse and recycle clothing, I knit my own washcloths and dishcloths, we recycle aluminum and plastic, we plant a garden every summer and I can or “put up” the yields to enjoy through the winter.
I buy fresh whenever possible so there is not any packaging to throw away.

My family uses reusable bags, energy efficient lights and we always try to remember to use water in moderation as well as electricity. I even have the kids turning off water until they are ready to wet their toothbrushes!
Hi – we are using green bags at the grocery store now. Also, we are making sure our air conditioning and furnace filters stay clean to make less hardship and pull on electricity from the city. We also are eating healthier and less processed foods which helps local growers to make it in this hard economic time and one last thing, I have always loved having a garbage disposal but now do not and am using the refuse from my sink in a compost pile.
Love your page and am a facebook fan and have subscribed to your newsletter. Thanks so much!

We collect all the newspapers I buy (for coupons) and bring them to the library recycling bins. We have also begun to collect all our empty water bottles, and bring them for the plastic recycle bin. (our neighborhood does not have a mandatory re-cycle program or truck that comes around). Love Cascadian Farms as well! 🙂

I wash clothes on cold and do not use the “heated dry” setting on my dishwasher.
I hope this one is still open too… (?)! We’ve switched out lightbulbs to energy-saving ones, recycle everything we can (which has saved on our garbage bill), do laundry loads back-to-back (so the heater element on the dryer doesn’t have to completely re-heat with each new load) or dry them on the line, burn wood in the winter (easy to do up here in the bitter cold North where the trees are aplenty… and sustainable), and we don’t use air conditioning in the summer (also easy to do in a cooler climate). Thanks again, Liza!!!
