Addicted to Saving Reader Survey Giveaway Winner – $25 VISA Gift Card

Well, the survey results are in from the Addicted to Saving Reader Survey and I am soooo thankful for your kind words of encouragement. My favorite stat is in the picture above – more than half come to AddictedtoSaving.com more than once a day, and 98% come at least once a week! I feel so blessed and so honored. I know that I don’t answer every email or Facebook comment, and sometimes I’m not on my A-game, but you all are like my extended family, and I absolutely love you all!

I’ve joked that my blog is my “baby;” obviously it’s not literally true, but just like a mother is protective of her baby, I’m protective of my site and my readers as well. I can’t believe how God has blessed it over these past three years! Utterly blessed.

It was hard to give a survey because no one likes criticism, but I found that most of you were too nice. 🙂 But I learned a lot from the comments, and hopefully I can start to make some slight modifications to continue to make your experience even better!

In case you’re curious, here are a couple of the things I learned in the survey:

95% were female who responded
54% were in the 35-54 age group
I already mentioned this, but 98% come to Addicted to Saving at least once a week (thank you!)
Publix is the #1 store you want to see deals from
CVS, Target, Walgreens and Walmart were all tightly lumped as the next most desirable stores
Most of you are happy with the stores as is, but Rite Aid and Kroger were the most desired **Did you notice that I was able to do the Rite Aid ad this past week?**
Deals related to Publix definitely seem to be your favorite – guess that means I will keep doing a Photo Show and Tell! 🙂
You would like to see more freebies and store deals
You would like to see less deals for daily deals sites like Groupon, Living Social (I was surprised, actually!)

Okay everyone, I have to admit, many days I’m just grinding out the deals and don’t have time to think about much else. That said, I do want to continuously try to find ways to make Addicted to Saving a better experience for you all. So, with that in mind, I’ve created a 29 question survey below to help me do just that!

Can I just tell you how much I love Chick-fil-A? My husband and I were invited to their Customer Appreciation the other day in Tampa, and we were both so impressed by the people, the culture, their vision, and especially by the current COO, Dan Cathy, son of the founder, Truett Cathy.

Of course my husband loved it (pictured here with the famous Chick-fil-A cow), because it was basically all you could eat Chick-fil-A! We had the chicken salad sandwiches, spicy chicken and original chicken sandwiches, fruit cups, fudge brownies, and the yet-to-hit-stores oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (soooo yummy!).

But more than the food were the people. We were SO impressed with the level of character in the room. The staff and owner-operators were fun, energetic, polite, and interested in each person who was there. Dan Cathy talked about being good stewards of all that God has given us, and that means going the second mile for their customers. He said that there’s a lot of competition in the marketplace for the first mile, but the second mile space is very empty. And that’s what he strives to instill in all his Chick-fil-A franchisees who are able to daily touch their customer’s lives.

Needless to say, although we were already Chick-fil-A fans, this meeting solidified it! They gave each person who was there a gift bag with the following:

The book, Wealth – Is It Worth It?, by owner and founder S. Truett Cathy (Intro by Dave Ramsey)
Two FREE Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Meal coupons (expire 12/31/12)
