I thought about the type of gift card that I wanted to give away to one of my lucky readers and I figured that a $200 Visa Gift Card might be just what one of you need. Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce Review and Giveaway – 7 Winners

Have you tried Country Bob’s Sauce?  I was given two bottles of Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce to try out and review and let me tell you, I love the sauce!  So far, we have put it on steak that we grilled out and I made chicken stir-fry with the sauce.  The sauce is a bit sweet and a bit tangy – all at the same time.  So good.  I even found myself dipping grilled chicken into the sauce.  Yum. There are multiple varieties of this sauce so you can get Spicy, Barbecue Sauce or just stick with The Original All Purpose Sauce.  I used Country Bob’s All Purpose Original Sauce in the stir-fry below.  It turned out amazing.  I’ve never thought about using an all purpose sauce in stir-fry so when I saw the recipe on Country Bob’s website, I was excited to try it out!  Below my picture is the recipe!

Cashew Chicken Stir-fry

Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, cut into one inch strips
3 Tbsp oil for frying
1 cup broccoli flowerets
1 cup carrots, sliced thin
1 cup celery, diced
1 cup cashews
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce (or may substitute Spicy)
1 Tbsp cornstarch
**I added red, yellow, green and orange peppers to this recipe.  I also added crushed red pepper to kick it up a notch 😉

Directions
1) In a bowl, mix chicken and Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce. Put in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2) In a wok or large skillet, add oil and chicken. Cook till chicken is almost done.
3) Add soy sauce, water and simmer for a few minutes.
4) Add all other ingredients and cook till carrots are done to your liking.
5) Mix cornstarch to 1/4 cup water and add to skillet. Cook till it is thickened and serve over rice.

And for the fun part!  Country Bob’s gave me two bottles to try out.  They also gave me 14 Country Bob’s Regular or Spicy 13 oz Bottle coupons!  SO – 7 lucky readers will win two FREE Country Bob’s product coupons!  (Walmart sells Country Bob’s as well as many other grocery stores.)

Addicted to Saving Chick-fil-A Giveaway – 5 Winners

So the picture above is me and the Chick-fil-A cow – well, one of them at least – at a special blogger event where we were able to get a behind-the-scenes look at how a Chick-fil-A store works!  We got to sample new menu items, including their new Chicken Tortilla Soup, Grilled Chicken Nuggets, and their Homemade, ginormous, melt-in-your-mouth Chocolate Chip Cookie. Mmmmm! 

We also got to talk with the owner of this Clearwater Chick-fil-A about their mission and overall philosophy, and tour the kitchen to see how all that yummy food is made, from the fresh, prepared-to-0rder chicken breasts to the individually squeezed lemons that help make their simply delicious lemonade.

This is me trying to ignore my husband taking a picture of me while I listen to the owner talk about his operation in our behind-the-scenes tour.  :/

And now for the best part!  When we were all done, my contact at Chick-fil-A generously supplied me with gifts to give away to my readers!  As you can see in the above picture, I have 10 gift certificates good for a FREE Chick-fil-A kids meal, and 5 gift cards good for a FREE milkshake each month starting in February and going through April.  How fun is this!  I love Chick-fil-A!  🙂
