Amazon Prime Shipping Schedule: Order by Sunday Night (Midnight EST) to Get Your Gift by Christmas Eve

In case you were wondering, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can still get your Amazon orders here by Christmas Eve. The above schedule basically means that as long as you order by Midnight EST on Sunday, 12/22, you can score FREE shipping and get your order at your doorstep by Christmas Eve.

You can score a FREE trial of Amazon Prime by going HERE and signing up.  You can manage your trial membership in your account, or you can continue Prime for $79/year. I have to tell you, it’s probably the best $79 I spend, because I order online all the time, and never have to worry about paying for shipping with Amazon. Ever!

Amazon’s Lightning Deals: How to Find the Lightning Deal You’re Looking For

If you have had a difficult time finding the Amazon Lightning Deals that I tell you about on Facebook,  this post will be a step-by-step tutorial to give you the best chance at getting those lightning deals that really do sell out quickly.

The screenshots below are from the Black Friday Deals Week, but it is the same for the Cyber Monday Deals Week that are going on right now.

On Facebook, I’m posting the direct link to the Amazon Cyber Monday Page: http://amzn.to/HRSGlL.

This will open up to the following page; this page shows you ALL AVAILABLE lightning deals:

To view the upcoming deals, you’ll want to click on the UPCOMING tab; this will include all upcoming deals as well as current lightning deals available to claim:

To find a specific category, you’ll want to choose the category from the drop down menu on the right (in this case, Toys and Games):

As you can see from the above screenshot, I was trying to get the LEGO Super Heroes Arctic Batman vs Mr. Freeze, but I was put on the waitlist (as #21, which is a pretty high waitlist number and I actually was able to get this even though I was put on the waitlist).

So that’s how you find the deals.

Tip #1 – Do NOT refresh your screen.  If you refresh, it will take you back to the Home Page for Lightning Deals. You’ll want to wait until the countdown hits zero and claim quickly.

Tip #2 – Make sure you system is operating under optimal conditions.  Install any updates your computer wants to install, and don’t have a ton of programs operating at once, which can slow down your response time on the deal.

Tip #3 – Try a different browser. I would suggest using Google Chrome or Firefox if you’re not having any luck with Internet Explorer.

Tip #4 – Enable 1-Click ordering. Your deal is secured once it’s purchased; by signing into 1-Click ordering, you’ll be able to purchase your lightning deal very quickly.  (Just remember you have it enabled later on!)

Even with these tips, you’re not guaranteed anything, but they will increase your odds of claiming the deal, or at least being put on the waitlist at a good number.

Sign Up to Receive BlackFridayText Alerts from Addicted to Saving on the *HOTTEST* Deals

Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sales will be here before you know it, so I’ve created a way to stay on top of the very HOTTEST deals (you know, those ones that come and go before you usually know about it).

Just follow Addicted to Saving’s Black Friday & Cyber Monday handle on Twitter (BlackFridayText). Then sign up to receive text alerts on your mobile phone for the best deals. You will start seeing alerts beginning Wednesday, 11/27, and running through the end of the day on Cyber Monday. These will only be Black Friday/Cyber Monday related deals and will not include coupons, grocery store matchups, etc.  **Once Cyber Monday is over (12/2), you will not receive any more mobile alerts from @blackfridaytext until next year. 🙂

How to Receive Text Alerts from BlackFridayText:

1) Login to your Twitter account.

2) Click on the gearshift in the upper right-hand corner and then click SETTINGS.

3) On the next screen, click on MOBILE.

4) Put in your PHONE NUMBER, then click ACTIVATE PHONE.

5) You will then text GO to 40404.

6) Once you do this, your computer screen will update, and you will want to un-checkmark everything except where it says: Tweets from people you’ve enabled for mobile notifications. Then click SAVE to save your settings.

6) Follow BlackFridayText by going HERE.

7) Click on the little icon with the person’s head (next to the Follow button) and click on TURN ON MOBILE NOTIFICATIONS.

Voila! You’re done. Remember that standard text messaging rates will apply, and you can TURN OFF MOBILE NOTIFICATIONS in your Twitter account once Cyber Monday has come and gone.

Hopefully you’ve noticed the Black Friday Cyber Monday banner (above) on the right hand side of the site.  Just click on it (or the one above) to be taken to as many Black Friday Store Ads as I can get done between now and next Friday.  If there’s not an ad yet, I at least tried to link you to the store’s “Deals” page, if available.  I’ll be adding as many as I can in the next few days!

I’m excited to see that the Amazon Holiday Lightning Deals have begun! Everyday between now and Christmas, Amazon will have Holiday Toy Lightning Deals. These deals typically last for a couple of hours BUT they will often sell out. So, if you see a deal you are interested in, make sure you are bookmark this page HERE and get ready for the deal when it begins.
