What a week this has been! One week ago, we were in Ethiopia. We had just passed court and had to say good-by to Baby T and then begun our 30 hour trek back to the states. While I was so happy to be back on U.S. soil, I desperately wished we had Baby T with us. And, upon our return to the states, hubby had major stomach issues (from something he ate in Ethiopia) and I had the cold and cough that Baby T gave me. So, we’ve been a mess this week.
I was excited to go grocery shopping though. I haven’t been shopping since May 24th so there are some things that I really needed (I was entirely out of ice cream, butter and chicken broth) and I also wanted to take advantage of the awesome Kraft BBQ sauce sale! As a reminder, you don’t see me purchasing much (if any) meat and produce because we have a freezer stocked with meats courtesy of Zaycon Foods and because we belong to a weekly fruit and veggie coop. We get our meats and produce heavily discounted this way. So when I go grocery shopping, I am really purchasing the filler items that I need in addition to meats and produce.
