Publix Weekly Ad 3/31/11- 4/6/11 or 3/30/11 – 4/5/11

Below are this week’s Publix Weekly ad and coupon matchups. If you see any missing coupons, deals or typos, please let me know! As the days go on, I will update this ad.

******Seven Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message or the message that you have already printed the coupon – even if you haven’t.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for most Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off.
4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix store accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors! Also, some Publix locations will accept only one of each store coupon while others will accept multiple duplicate store coupons within the same transaction.
6) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

I went to Publix yesterday and found this booklet. Coupons specify: limit one coupon per purchase. May not be used in conjunction with any other coupon. Not to exceed purchase price. Expiration is 4/15/11. Not sure if your store will allow you to use these with manufacturer coupons or not. I listed the match ups just in case they do. Definitely ask first before attempting! There is also mail in offer included in this booklet. Hi Everyone! It’s Liza’s friend, Kelly. As you probably read last week, Liza is away and I’ve been filling in for her while she’s been gone. I have to tell you, this is a BIG job and I have a whole new respect for what she does. She really makes my shopping trip so much easier to plan, saving me a ton of time each week and a ton of money! I happen to be a big “copycat” every week and am always excited to see what Liza will do each week at Publix with her coupons. I usually purchase most of the items from her Show and Tell each week. This week, I don’t have her post to look at. I am responsible for it instead. Yikes! That said, I did my best to make Liza proud and to help you all with your trip as well. 🙂

I knew that John Frieda products were on sale $2 off this week and had noticed Target has a $3/2 coupon on their site, good for the Full Repair line of John Frieda hair care. I was elated to see that the shampoo and conditioner were on sale for $3.49 each! This was a pleasant surprise for me this morning! I scored two FREE John Frieda Full Repair products at Publix on my shopping trip and you can too (as long as your Publix takes Target coupons).
