Publix Italian Days Scenario

Okay – so I asked everyone on Addicted to Saving’s Facebook page if you would like some Publix Italian Days scenarios and the results were a resounding yes.  The scenario below is a “tame” one.  I have you using each store coupon only once.  If your store allows you to use more than one of the same store coupon in one transaction, you will be able to do better.  ALSO – the $5/20 coupon is basically subtracting $0.25 from each item.  So, if you decide to create your own scenario (you should – have fun with this!) you can mentally subtract $0.25 from each item assuming you purchase 20 items and use the $5/20.

I have two HUGE disclaimers. 
1)  Some Publix locations will only allow one $5/20 coupon per 20 items while other Publix locations will let you use a $5/20 AND additional store coupons on the 20 items you are purchasing.
2)  Some Publix locations will only allow one individual store coupon per transaction – in other words, no duplicate coupons.  I recommend you ask your customer service before selecting your items so that you know what to expect.  Any questions?  🙂

Okay – so I can’t confirm that this sale is going on.  I also can’t confirm if this is a store-wide or regional sale.  But some Publix locations have been reported to have California Sun-Dried Tomatoes Julienne cut and/or pesto on sale B1G1!!  There are no coupons to go with this sale BUT I have never seen these on sale B1G1 so for the first time in a long time, I am telling you that it is okay to stock up even if you don’t have a sale!  Please leave a comment if you find these on sale B1G1.

Below are this week’s Publix Weekly ad and coupon matchups.  I’m excited this week is Publix Italian Days!!  This is the time when you can get great deals on Progresso products, Green Giant products and more!  If you see any missing coupons or typos, please let me know!  As the day goes on, I will update this ad.  The info below is taken from an ad scan from the Tampa Bay area.  Do you see any deals or coupon matchups I’ve missed?  What deals are you looking forward to?

******Seven Main Notes to my readers :

1)  If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message or the message that you have already printed the coupon – even if you haven’t.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for most Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items.  Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off.
4)  For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled.  Other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons!  HOWEVER, each Publix store accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location.  Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors!  Also, some Publix locations will accept only one of each store coupon while others will accept multiple duplicate store coupons within the same transaction.
6)  If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays
