The Gasparilla Distance Classic is coming up on the weekend of February 26th – if you are a runner or a walker you should look into participating in one of the events. I’ve run the 15k and the half marathon and they are SO MUCH fun! But I’m getting ahead of myself. Publix sponsors the Gasparilla Distance Classic and this year they have another coupon booklet! Below are this week’s Publix Weekly ad and coupon matchups. As I posted Sunday night – this is the first week I am doing the complete matchups on my own so I would LOVE your help! If you see a coupon that I need to add to my matchups, please let me know! The info below is taken from an ad scan from the Tampa Bay area. Do you see any deals or coupon matchups I’ve missed? What deals are you looking forward to?

******Six Main Notes to my readers :

1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.

2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message or the message that you have already printed the coupon.

2) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for most Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that item half (50%) off.

3) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.

4) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix store accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors!

5) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

Is anyone else as excited as I about the Eight O’ Clock Coffee sale? We go through coffee like it is water in this house. So, I bought 8 bags today and may even go back to get more! 🙂 I also have an awesome friend who gave me some great Winn Dixie coupons so I was able to get some great deals on the meat I think I was a bit surprised by how much I spent but I have to remind me that the meat wasn’t free and I bought a lot of coffee! I made two different shopping trips today and I’ve combined everything into one transaction below. I made two different trips because I had one $5 off $30 Winn Dixie coupon and one $10 off $50 Winn Dixie coupon and I wanted to use both.

I know many of you are becoming expert couponers so you may have figured this out already, but today when I did my weekly Publix shopping trip, I was really excited to see that you can score FREE 2 Liters of Sun Drop Soda! (This is for all of you who live in the land of true D.) This week select Canada Dry, 7-UP or A&W or Diet Rite 2 L bottles are on sale Buy One Get One Free. Well – check your Publix to see if Sun Drop soda is included in your sale. My Publix had them included! AND – in the current Publix Yellow Advantage Flyer there is a Buy any 1 Sun Drop , 2 lit regular or diet and get 1 Free Publix Store coupon! So, buy two 2 Liter bottles, use one BOGO coupon and you will score two bottles free!
