I’ve received numerous calls, texts and emails regarding St Pete Times leaving out inserts the past few weeks. I did a bit of research and it seems that the St Pete Times may begin leaving out the SS (Smart Source) insert entirely going forward for Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas Counties! This will mean A LOT of lost business for SPTimes since I know many of you buy the Times on Sunday specifically for the inserts (myself included). **UPDATE – I just spoke w/ customer service. The gentleman I spoke with said the advertisers (coupon inserts) are not marketing in every area on Sundays. This means there is no guarantee as to who will receive coupons and who won’t. The gentleman said they have received NUMEROUS complaints. I recommend you Call (1-800-888-7012) AND email([email protected]) them to complain if this is a concern to you. Besides complaining, I would recommend that you inform customer service of exactly how many newspapers you buy each weekend so they understand how much money they will lose to their competitors.
