Bonefish Grill has a new menu for all of us! I was given the opportunity to head to my local Bonefish Grill and try out some of the items on the new menu and I eagerly agreed. My hubby and I don’t go out to dinner much now that we are parents (I think we’ve gone out 3 times this past year!) and so when we do, we like to go to Bonefish Grill to get Bang Bang Shrimp and some sort of seafood for our dinner. When we looked at the new menu, we quickly realized that there are somewhere around 40 new items on their menu! (In the pic above, every item that has a starfish to the left of it is new!) They have fun new dinner bowls like Spicy Ahi Tuna and NY Strip Tatiki. And they have a new appetizer that hubby and I were really excited to try – Bang Bang Shrimp Flatbread. They also have new drinks like Fresh Pineapple Martinis. Oh – and don’t forget their new desserts like S’Mores Flatbread!
We started our night off with Bang Bang Shrimp Flatbread. If you like Bang Bang Shrimp, you will not be disappointed! The flatbread almost seems a little more spicey than traditional Bang Bang Shrimp. The flatbread is layered with mozzarella cheese, crispy shrimp, cilantro + a creamy, spicy sauce. We would definitely get it again! Next time we go, we want to also try their Twisted Edamame Hummus. It sounded so good!
For dinner, my hubby got the Shrimp Pad Thai. This dish comes with shrimp, rice noodles, green onions, peanuts, egg + traditional Pad Thai sauce. If you like Pad Thai, you won’t be disappointed with this meal. In fact, next time, I want to get this meal!
I had the Spring Basil Fettuccine and had Salmon on top of it (you can choose from salmon, chicken and shrimp as an additional topping). The fettuccine comes with artichoke pesto, asparagus, peppers, tomatoes, white wine cream sauce + Parmesan cheese. It was really creamy and very flavorful. The salmon was a nice addition to the dish!
For dessert, we got the S’mores Flatbread. If you like s’mores, this is the dessert for you. The flatbread comes topped with creamy chocolate, toasted marshmallow + sliced almonds, sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs. The only way I thought this could have been improved is if they switched out regular flatbread for a graham cracker-like flatbread. Or maybe if they sprinkled more graham cracker crumbs on top. I just think it needed a little more graham crackers. It was great though. We would definitely order this again for dessert!
