Don’t Forget to Buy at Least Two Newspapers on Sunday!

This Sunday is a great day to buy at least two newspapers!  There will be three inserts in the paper.  One RP (Red Plum), one SS (Smart Source) and one PG (Proctor & Gamble).  Remember you want to have an even number of newspapers so if there is B1G1 sales, you have two coupons to use.  This is a good Sunday with lots of coupons so you might want to buy 4 or more papers.  Below is a preview of the coupons we may see in the paper.  As always – I remind you to check your newspapers first to see if the inserts are in it – BEFORE buying them.  Also – the coupons listed below may vary in our papers.  Coupons are regional so we may not see each and every coupon at the values listed.

I have no idea how I missed this printable that was available earlier this month!  I had a reader who was talking about a Oscar Mayer Deli Creations deal at Publix and after doing research online, I found this $1.00/1 Oscar Meyer printable!  All you need to do is type in your best cure for Mondays and you will be able to print the coupon twice! Photo Show and Tell – Publix 4/26/10

So, this week’s Photo Show and Tell should hopefully answer the plethera of emails I receive regarding whether or not I buy and eat fresh meat.  The answer is a wholehearted YES!!  I am not totally thrilled with this week’s Publix Weekly Ad BUT having chicken on sale for $1.99/lb made me very very happy.  I only buy chicken breasts when they are priced at $1.99/lb or less.  I will trim all of the chicken I bought today and separate them into one pound portions.  I will then put them in Ziploc freezer bags, freeze them and use as needed.  I bought 13.4 lbs of boneless chicken breasts and this should last us a while.  The nice thing about my shopping trip this week – I was able to get everything in the picture for less than the cost of the 13.4 lbs of chicken 🙂  So, I spent a total of $25.54 and saved $100.94.

Some Publix stores have a great unadvertised sale: McCormick Garlic is Buy One Get One Free.  I can’t guarantee that your store will have this sale, but I want you to prepared and have your coupons ready!  Below is the coupon matchups to bring.  **I have heard that the garlic powder is priced from $2.49 – $2.79 depending on where you live.. **UPDATE – these were B1G1 at my store and priced at $2.49 for two.  I bought six, got them free AND received $1.83 overage!
