There is a Swag Code on your toolbar right now that is good until 9 pm EST. If you have your tool bar downloaded, to the right of your login/logout button is a red box with a white envelope in it. Click the box, open the message titled “TGIF”, copy the code and paste into your Gimme box. If the letter is not showing up, log out, refresh your screen and log in again.
If you are not yet a Swag Bucks member, read my blog, “Free $5.00 Amazon Gift Cards“!

Today is Mega Swag Bucks Day! On Fridays, you can win $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 Swag Bucks or even more just from searching the internet! If you are not yet a member, go Here to sign up! I can not tell you how wonderful this program has been for me. I joined in October and since then, I have received $100 in Amazon gift cards. It is SIMPLE to do. Use Swag Bucks as your search engine and throughout the day you will win at least one Swag Buck. You will also earn Swag Bucks by entering codes that they release throughout the week (See the paragraph below for a free code). AND, if you refer friends, you will receive one Swag Buck each time they earn one. It is simple. You need to try it out! 🙂
If you are a current or new Swag Bucks member, there is a new code posted with $1 Swagbuck. (This is a new code so even if you’ve done this before, you should be able to earn another swagbuck today.) Here’s how to get your free buck:
1. Go to swagbuck’s homepage. 2. Click on “Ways to Earn” on the top of the page 3. Click on “Special Offers” 4. Click on the blue box to the right that says “Go Now” 5. Skip all offers. 6. After about 4-6 offers, a unique swag code will be shown. Copy the code and paste into your Swag Code Box.by Liza

I tried using Coupon Clippers for the first time this past Sunday night. There was a great deal at Publix where you could get 64 oz bottles of Gatorade for FREE! I had already gotten quite a few free, but as a long distance runner, I go through a lot of Gatorade. So, I went onto Coupon Clippers and ordered more coupons for Gatorade. Then, I decided to order more coupons for Bayer pain relievers since if I buy two bottles at Publix, I make over $2.00 in profit to put towards meat, veggies, fruit, etc. I placed the order Sunday night and in my mail Wednesday afternoon was my coupons!
An example of their pricing: $0.50/1 Gatorade coupon was $0.10 each, $1.00/1 Bayer coupon was $0.12 each. Not bad huh!
I will have a permanent link placed on the right column of this website soon. In the meantime, if there are any coupons you need to add to your stockpile, go to Coupon Clippers!

Welcome! Many of you have joined Addicted to Saving after watching me on Daytime TV talking about Stockpiling! Feel free to check out my blog and leave comments with any questions you might have! And, for more information on stockpiling, below is my Introduction to Stockpiling post.
Definition of Stockpiling: Stocking up on items that are at rock bottom prices so that you don’t have to pay full price ever again.
1) Remember that sales cycles are typically every 6 – 8 weeks. So – when you stockpile, you want to purchase enough of a rock bottom deal to last at least 6-8 weeks. And, if the item is not perishable, you should purchase enough to last 6-9 months if not more!
2) Rock Bottom Prices are from matching a great sale with a great coupon. If you have a Buy One Get One Free Sale and you use two manufacturer coupons, you are automatically saving over 50% on the two items you purchase.
3) Gather multiple coupons. Buy more than one newspaper every Sunday and print out more than one of internet coupons.
My favorite printable coupon websites:
4) Keep your stockpile organized. Organize your food by expiration date keeping the food with the shortest shelf life to the front so that you use it. Keep good inventory so you know exactly what you have, what you need and what you don’t need.
5) Know when to say when. Determine your families needs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Do not become a hoarder. Do not let food go bad.
6) Give it away! These are tough financial times. What is better then to see a family in need and to give them overflowing bags of groceries – groceries you barely paid for from your own pantry!
