If any of you have emailed me lately, you probably have realized I haven’t responded as promptly as I should. I am so sorry! My inbox is receiving hundreds of emails a day and for me, I’m trying to post as many deals as I can and I’m finding that many of your questions have gone unanswered.
I really want to attempt to answer the question that so many of you have emailed me about using a B1G1 coupon in conjunction with a B1G1 sale. I figure that if I post the answer, I won’t have to respond to all of your individual questions in my inbox 😉
If there is a Buy One Get One Free sale and you live in Florida, you will have to buy two items. You will pay for the first item in full and the second item will be free. (Many other states do not require you to purchase two items – instead you will receive each item at 50% off.)
Let’s use two bottles of SoBe water as the example – one bottle of Apple Pear and one bottle of Blackberry (since it is on sale B1G1 at CVS this week).
At CVS this week, if you buy one bottle of Apple Pear and one bottle of Blackberry SoBe water, you will pay for in full for the Apple Pear and the Blackberry bottle will be free. (assuming you live in a “true” B1G1 state) When you use the B1G1 coupon in conjunction with the sale, the B1G1 coupon will “cover” the cost of the Apple Pear bottle. Since the Blackberry bottle is already free and since the B1G1 coupon is covering the cost of the Apple Pear, you will receive both bottles free. Does this make sense?
Now, here’s my HUGE caveat. This is YMMV. Remember that each store may implement different coupon policies. When in doubt, as the store manager if they will give you both items in a B1G1 sale free when you use a B1G1 coupon. Ask before you start loading your grocery cart. That way you know exactly what to expect.

This isn’t the most exciting week for me at CVS. Last week I had fun with the FREE M&Ms and FREE Stayfree products. This week there really isn’t as much jumping out at me. Today’s RP (Red Plum) coupon insert has two coupons that will get us FREEBIES at CVS this week! Pretzel M&M’s are on sale B1G1 at CVS (Limit 8). If you use the B1G1 coupon in the 06-27-10 RP, you will get both bags FREE! **UPDATE** the B1G1 coupon is up to $0.79 value, so when the cashier types in $0.79, you should spend $0.05 per bag. What do you think of this week at CVS? I’m not thrilled with much although I LOVE the $5 ECB wyb $10 off select household items deal. The reason I love this deal is because you can really mix and match it. All of the items cost the same ($2.50 each) and as long as you have a $1.00/1 coupon for each item, you will get them for $0.25 each which is a great deal!
