How were all of your holidays? Christmas for us was marvelous. We spend Christmas at home, with the air conditioner on, spending time with my family. As you can see from the picture above, my husband surprised me with an adorably energetic puppy. We already have a 7 year old dog who means the world to me (Pacey). My husband searched high and low looking for a puppy for us. He went to the SPCA and sadly, almost all of the dogs and puppies there had pit bull in them. (I have known some amazing pit bulls. That said, he was looking for a smaller dog like Pacey.) He ended up getting us another King Charles Spaniel. The puppy, Louie – short for Luigi, has been a lot of fun and also a lot of work. Louie’s getting there though! He’s 10 weeks old now and seems to be really smart. So, hopefully he will be housebroken in the next month or so. (He actually has zero accidents as long as we are constantly watching him ;))
The past 5 or 6 days or so we spent in St Louis celebrating a belated Christmas/New Years with my in-laws. We had a great time there although last night I was glad to leave when the temperatures outside turned frigid! We got home extremely late last night and now we are getting back into the swing of things. I’m excited to get back into the routine of blogging and taking advantage of the deals that I’m posting! 🙂
How were your holidays? Did any of you create New Years resolutions? Personally, I’m not for New Years resolutions because I find that I usually keep my resolution for anywhere between 1 – 4 days. But I am all about goals. So, below are some of my goals for Addicted to Saving that I thought I would share with you:
Addicted to Saving Goals
- Post more how-to videos
- Make Addicted to Saving easier to navigate
- Hold more live chats
- Hold more Addicted to Saving 101 classes
- Focus more on paying it forward highlighting food pantries/homeless shelters/etc
I would love to hear if any of you created New Years resolutions this year! Thank you for your patience the past few weeks as I’ve taken time off and posted just a little each day! I hope that all of us have a productive year 2012 and that we can meet all of our goals! Thank you for being awesome readers.
